2 penalties? I didn't see any, I saw Welbeck get fouled outside the box, stagger to the inside and drop like a stone, and saw Man utd players throwing themselves to the floor without abandon, as usual, but actual penalties? no, there were none.
Webb gave us two penalties out of four possibles, apart from that he could quite easily have sent two Chelski players off and I thought he gave them every 50/50 decision. We were in control of the game all afternoon and but for two lucky deflected own goals should have won easily. Chelski are a spent force and they need "The special one " back if they are going to challenge for trophies next year !!!!
Swarbs, darling, Welbeck tripped over Cahills straggling leg! Cahill moved the ball just enough and welbeck droped about 2 seconds after. I think it was a reasonable result but i'm pissed off in how we gave it away.
If we were going to have a draw then this one was good. It felt almost like a victory because we were staring at a 3-0 defeat. I will admit to feeling very worried that it could have been 4-5 nil if we wnet all out for a goal. I thought here we go again: the City match again, with us chasing a goal and leaving ourselves open at the back.
if we were given the 1st penalty the game would have changed, but as they all say "its all ifs and buts"
First one was penalty IMO, second one wasn't, but it wasn't nearly as bad as Johnson's flop against Fulham. Welbeck didn't have to throw his leg sideways to make contact.!
Young foul was by the law a foul however Ashley's fall to the ground didn't help him. The Cahill one was a clearly a foul but the initial foul was outside the box but a red card. The Evra foul - penalty no question. The foul on Danny similar yes you are right to the Johnson one against Fulham but not as bad a leg throw! Didn't hear the ABU's crying about that one. TBH I'd be gutted if that penalty decision had went against us but pleased it was in our favour.
Ffs, Young - not a foul, Welbeck - tripped up and threw himself over, Evra - stonewall pen, Welbeck 2 - almost the same as his first horrible acting. Not to mention all the soft **** Webb gave all over the park. Once again, we were mugged off by a ref against United. You couldn't score fair goals from open play bar your 3rd so you had to rely on a referee's decision AGAIN.
Didn't actually see it as I was driving at the time. The 5Live summariser seemed pretty convinced it was a foul, as did the Beeb, Guardian and Telegraph live text summaries. And also Miggins. If there's a link to a decent quality vid anywhere I'll take a look and let you know what I think
Was driving my daughter home from a birthday party. You know, a daughter is one of those things you get when you are able to convince a woman to sleep with you. Don't worry, you'll get there one day P.S. Your IP address now says you are in Southampton. What's the matter, Saints not won enough for you to support them?
5live are ****s . Lee Dixon and Dion Dublin said it was very soft on MOTD, but they are also ****s. Try and catch it on youtube somewhere, never a pen.
using your daughter as an excuse to be a plastic? Come on Swarbs, you are better and cleverer than that. Great performance by United. Deserved a point
Saw it on COS, but not the best angle. Couldn't see whether it was Cahill or Welbeck who got a touch on the ball outside the area. If Cahill got the touch then no foul in my book. If Welbeck got the touch then penalty imo, as he wasn't brought down until inside the box. Probably not a red either way, as the touch took the ball away from goal. Wow, internet warriors talking about my three year old daughter. New low man, new low...
