Although I thought United was the stronger team a draw was fair result. Both teams had some luck. Chelsea had most of it with 2 penalties for united not given in the first half and 2 own goals. United should have been ahead by half time but the 2nd pen could be viewed as soft.

I think it is still 2 pts lost for United BUT the confidence it will have given to the team wil be ultimately invaluable. To come back at Spurs from 3-0 was great but to do that at Stamford Bridge in a supposedly tight game is even better. Actually I felt huge relief when AVB took Sturridge off like I did when Wenger removed Oxlade-Chamberlain. Both had been the dangermen....

Both penalties were a joke. First was soft and second was a clear dive. Welbeck puts his left leg on Ivanovic's leg and falls over. How that is a penalty is beyond me and any sane, unbiased person. I thought the bad decisions last time against them (and the penalty not given in the Champions League) was bad enough, but it seems United struggle to get anything against us without the referees most of the time. There have been matches where United got something from us fairly and deservedly however, but those are far and few in between. Can you imagine it had been the other way round? United fans would have been claiming that Webb is actually a Chelsea fan in disguise.

Before the match United would have considered a draw as two points lost and Chelsea a point gained, but with the way the game went it is definitely the other way round.

inb4 "bitter", "deluded", "excuses" "sore loser", "sour grapes", "twisted" "HAHA", "u mad" "it all makes the win that more sweeter the way we won" or anything along those lines.

Yurilly tbh i think the first was a pen and I would've wanted it given if the other way round. However, 2nd one was a farce, Webb was scared thinking about the thrashing he would get tonight from slur alex and had to give him some luck. An utter disgrace, Welbeck tripped, simple as.

I can see how it would be viewed as a penalty. It's one of those that more times than not it would be given outside the box, but not inside. At 0-0 I don't think Webb would have given it and he would certainly not have given it to us at any time.

Did you notice how when Webb had a clear cut view of the Cahill challenge on Welbeck, Fungus decided to blame the linesman instead claiming it wasn't Webb's fault. <laugh>

I'm sure Webb will remember this kind gesture next time. ;)

    Let's get this clear-
Bosingwa on Young isn't a penalty - He fell away from a shirt pull. If he fell into Bos then it would have been given.
Cahill on Welbeck (?) - Sensational tackle. End of.
Sturridge on Evra (?) - It's a penalty, but a soft one. A lot wouldn't have given it.
Ivanovic on Welbeck - This is a joke. Ivanovic does everything to pull out of the challenge and makes pretty much no contact. Poor decision.
In hindsight, I can't say I'm happy but even at 3-0 I wasn't confident we would keep it. It was far too early. If we had got the 3-0 at 75 mins then we would have won. All I can say is Torres again had the game decider and screwed it up. Shoot ffs don't cut inside into a defender!

My view is Webb should be banned from refereeing all United games AT LEAST. If anything to stop all conspiricies.

Totally agree. Bl**dy Webb should have sent off cahill but bottled it. United would have won against 10 but nearly lost because of him.

Having a laugh pal? Welbeck tripped over. Cahill touched the ball out f the way of Welbeck and he tripped up.

Agreed it was a great tackle but the diving little **** was looking for a penalty because Cahill had deflected the ball away from him and all he had left was to try and make it look like a penalty by deliberately getting his legs tangled up with Gary's. Should have been yellow carded for simulation.

The last penalty was a bit of a joke and the Cahill tackle was fine. Webb's a **** ref, even with the help of replays he didn't think Lescott's elbow was worthy of a red and whilst I don't believe he's intentionally biased he does favour United whenever he takes their games.

Totally agree YV. Like I previously said, he should never ref United games or possibly even any big games again.
