I was just looking over Chelsea's recent results, and they have been as bad as us, in their last 10 they have only won 3, just like us, they also went 4 games without a victory in the league, 3 draws, and a loss. Basically if we weren't so rubbish this season, we could have been well ahead of Chelsea, in fact if we had only continued on our good October-Mid December form we could have been in the top 4 with a gap over Chelsea, and looking quite secure into the top 4 (similar to Spurs). I know it's a good thing that Chelsea are playing as bad as us currently as it gives us hope for a top 4, but at the same time for me personally, it's very frustrating too as we could have taken much more advantage from Chelsea's dire dip (I'm sure they're thinking the same with us, they could have been well clear of us if they weren't so rubbish)
I could've been in bed with Jessica Alba tonight, too. Could've ... could've ... There's zero point getting frustrated about "we could be this and that". We could be winning the league, if we could've just won all our games. Pointless. Just be happy that we're in the mix in the here and now.
There's NO REASON why we shouldn't have carried on with our good form, Chelsea have been Sh!t all season, we made a recovery, were back on track, but then the usual Arsenal self destruct button was unleashed out of no where. There's no logical explanation for why we went from the top form team to relegation form material in a month.
Science adjusts its beliefs based on what is observed. Faith is the denial of observation so that Belief can be preserved. (Tim Minchin) I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer gods than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all other gods you will understand why I dismiss yours. (Stephen F. Roberts) ------------------- I think your signature quotes say a lot about you. The first is a musician speaking about science, and the second is a technologist talking about religeon. Both are utterly unqualified to make a comment about the respective subjects, but have come up with a trite statement on each that does not justify the reasoning behind the statement. Both require blind faith in the author of each, and denial of any observation that might refute them. However, no doubt you use these statements because you perceive that they lend weight to your arguments. It is my observation that people often accuse others of the faults of which they are guilty.
