True dat. Tho' pretty much every game is close to must win for you now if you want 4th. Cos if you ain't winning them one of Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle will be. And I still don't believe it will be. City still have to go to Swansea, Stoke, Arsenal and Newcastle, and with their average away form they are very likely to drop points against a couple of them. So even if we end up five points behind them after next weekend we will still have plenty of chances to catch up. Like MITO said, it's still too early in the season for any one game to be that important.
Looked like a pen to me - Ivanovic left his foot in and caught Welbeck's trailing leg. Not the clearest of pens, and definitely not as clear as the first half one sounded (was in the car then so only heard it on the radio), but a pen for me.
Not sure I agree, but we will see, usually plenty of twists and turns in the run-ins, would not like to be 5 points behind a decent city side. But after the LFC game, I guess your mob have an easier rn of games....

this game had it all.....dodgy penaltys, **** defending, a couple of cracking saves and a contender for goal of the season. webb should be banned from reffing games. if he is the best ref in england then the rest might as well give up!

I wouldn't like to be five points behind them either. But then we were five points behind them ten games ago, so to be five points behind them with 13 games to play wouldn't be the end of the world. And those last ten games have been about equal difficulty for both sides, whereas like you say City have a tougher run in than us. I think the opposite - he needs to be locked in a soundproof box!!
