Hi everyone. It's been a while since we had one of these betting competitions but I will definitely be running this one. Same Rules as before. Very briefly, you have a notional £1,000 to bet how you like throughout the Festival. You may bet ante-post, fixed odds, SP and Tote, single and multiple bets. You may also lay bets with each other. But please read the full set of Rules: Competition Rules - Betting Competition Festival Odds Check Betting Competition Result Points Competition Result ----------------------------------------------------- Please note temporary Rule change(s) for the Cheltenham Festival. All Festival races will be included whether or not televised. Ante Post bets are NRNB at full available odds with the option to substitute NRs at SP (Substitutions do not have to be in the same race as the horse being substituted) -------------------------------------------------- If you are interested in entering please register here. If you would like me to also run the Level Stakes/Points Competitions alongside, known as The Other Competition (Rules are under the same link) please indicate below also. Thanks Ron
PS. I've put this up early in case anyone wants to do an ante post bet at some stage. I can do NRNB at 75% of available odds (rounded up to the next recognised price) if that helps.
I wasn't on this forum last year, so I have no idea if this has been done before, but this is a bloody brilliant idea - Shergar, willing to lay Peddlers Cross at 33/1 with money which doesn't exist - you said you would with real money after Kempton........ Time to put your 'money' where your mouth is?!? I'll put in a bit of an ante-post portfolio: £50 EW (i.e. total £100) Simonsig for the Neptune @ 16/1 w/Skybet £50 Multiple: Big Bucks, Hurricane Fly, Sizing Europe, Long Run @ 30/1 w/Betfred £50 Multiple: Big Bucks, Hurricane Fly, Sizing Europe, Kauto Star @ 43/1 w/Boylesports
Is that a normal ante post Danish or would you like to avail yourself of my 75% NRNB offer? Are those multiples win accumulators making the total bet £200?
I'm in I'll take a mad £500 quid on Moscow Mannon 16/1 in the Bumper without NRNB. Think he has by far the best form of anything in that race and I really like him a lot.
Thing is I thought that inclusive of the possibility of them not turning up those odds looked good. Sizing Europe winning today helped matters it must be said, but then I thought he would. For me the Gold Cup is the only significant risk in those accas. Simonsig may yet turn out foolish, but we'll see.
