I have my triple up. France, England and Watford. Think a is due to celebrate with. The last of the three was most satisfying of course.
The ref was shocking but our players were the idiots, Bolasie got 2 cautions in 3 mins and Wilson as the last defender, the bad part was that Leeds were rubbish
A snowy drive home but pleasantly warmed up now. We worked hard for that result without ever looking brilliant. Closing down was excellent and broke up the rhythm of a good passing team who themselves lacked a cutting edge. Captain Eustace led by example and Hogg was everywhere. The two young wide players look skilful though they don't yet have the stamina to be effective for much more than an hour. Deeney is improving his ability to hold the ball up. Garner is mobile but doesn't look like scoring many goals. The back four were generally well organised apart from the last 10 minutes when we made the mistake of playing much too deep. Very happy with 3 points though...just the sort of game we need to take points from.
Happy birthday NZ - and a nice day. A well worked 3 points us, and a result against the men in skirts in their own back yard....well worth a large drink of your favourite tipple - I will join you with a large Scotch - just to keep the theme going!! ha ha Alex Salmond..
William Wallace, Mel Gibson, BB, Jimmy Crankie, PSH,Billy Conolly, Malky Macky, Alex Salmond, Bonny Prince Charlie, Gordon Clown, Rab C Nesbit, Marti Pello, Ian Robertson -----your boys took a hell of a beating - just remember Culloden!
Morning all! Well that was fun! Left the 50th at 12, got to golders green at 1:45, drove to Pinner to pick up young Master Hornette and then drove home...got home at 2:30 and couldn't get on the driveway, but aside from that, it's rather fun driving my little Nissan past a huge amount of abandoned Mercs, BMWs and Audis . Just sitting for a mo with a coffee (decaf) before heading to bed...i think i'm giving myself the day off tomorrow, shame the football probably won't be on!
Morning all from a snow white Borehamwood, what a great set of results yesterday (discounting the cricket) I have no sky signal on the TV. Does anybody else have this problem?
Morning All, Total white out here and still throwing it down. I know that it was forecast, but one learns to accept the fact that the meteo is often wrong. France electricity suppliers are asking people not to use it to heat rooms that are not being used, not leave equipment in standby mode etc, as they are hovering very close to the point where demand will outstrip supply. The temperature has risen from -9C to -6C overnight. The last lot of snow that we had stopped us receiving TV from a satellite, not Sky. I haven't tried ours today, but had to go out and clear the dish and bits off last time. Good job it is reachable with a mop from ground level.
Good morning M. French - Sky now returned thanks, just the clouds full of snow not the Sat dish tank goodness as dish is oh the chimney. Good luck with your electricity.
Morning all from a very white bandit country - I just hope it does not stop British Gas man coming to fix the boiler. I will have a nice cup of tea ready for him in my old Watford mug, he always loves that!!
Mel is a Yank and BPC was Italian - but I get your point Not too sure about the hell of a beating either - a bit like saying the Spuds walked all over Watford the other week Have just been watching the news - it seems England shuddered to a halt overnight thanks to a 'wee bit o' snaa'. Beautiful day up here - bright sunshine, blue skies, 4C and not a white flake in sight - yet!
