I've just about had it coming on here after every game and reading posts criticising individual players. It is unbelievable. We are second in the league and having a great season. Why do people feel the need to single players out to bash them. A comment saying they may not have had their best games would suffice, but the way some fans slaughter individuals I really wonder if they are true supporters. I get frustrated when we don't win or play poorly, but sometimes we have to accept it. Is it just that so many of us are "has beens", "wanna bes", jealous that we weren't ever going to be good enough or just don't understand football?
What I got so annoyed with today was when they announced the team, the amount of fans straight on Connolly back!! 'Why is he in the team, he's useless' 'We bring Sharp in and we don't use him' It's driving me mad, there's always one scapegoat!! To be perfectly honest, Connolly was always going to start. Guly just coming back from injury, Sharp has only trained once with the first team and Lee is still getting used to English football. Why can't everyone get behind the team and just enjoy what is going on at the club!!
What most people need to realise is that footballers are people not machines. Well paid people albeit but everyone is capable of a concentration lapse and a purple are entirly possible. It's stupid, on another thread some fella was slamming Adkins for not starting Sharp. A guy who has had 4 days to move 100 miles from an area he has lived in his whole life and adjust to a style of play he is not used to. It's stupidity at its highest.
Don't exaggerate - I called it earlier in the match he would get sent off, so as there was nothing to cheer about I thought I'd cheer about my prediction coming true I like Fox, just his crossing has let me down lately
All hell breaks loose in this house if any of you lot dares to criticise Morgan. I have to go down the garden and stay in my shed for a few hours until the dust settles and it is safe to come back indoors.
Your both fans of Morgan then!? I personally love Morgan to pieces, me and the lovely Mrs Godders have a lot in common - watch out!
I really must confront her over this issue. I can't just continue to ignore it and hope it will go away. I blame BBC Radio Solent for that interview. The minute she heard that French accent she started swooning. She keeps playing it over and over again on the iPlayer.
