The arab rulers only do (or dont do) what those putting them in power tell them to do.

I actually have relatives in syria and its a bit tough watching the news at the moment as some of what is happening is in their neck of the woods

The weird thing is most people wanted assad out, but now the americans do some people dont

The real question is: Did the United Nations help to avoid nuclear war back in the day, therefore serve its only real purpose.
