The only bright spot in an otherwise miserable day. Privilege to watch him in the blue and white hoops.
If only there was at least one other team mate with a decent first touch that didn't see the ball as a hot potato. Are we missing Faurlin?
Yes. I love Derry for last season but he is finished. Barton totally overrated. We have no midfield at the moment.
Ciarrai, I think I've made my stance known on Taarabt (as has Col). I'm only glad the transfer window has closed, and that he's with us for the rest of the season to try and get us out of this trouble. The guy is mercurial and I'm still doing the genealogy thing to see if he's got an Irish granny!
Imaz, you're an absolute genius! We've managed to trace O'Bama back to County Offaly in the 1600's, and he recently visited and had a few pints of Guinness. I'm sure we can find a Baltimore link with O'Taarabt and he can come and play ball for us, 'cos he won't have the Guinness, you know!
I could not agree more, the ball was like a 'hot potato' for most of them, maybe it's a confidence thing, but time is running out. JB not for me! he'd be average in The Championship!
I would love to see the stats for distance run today. I think Adel dispelled a few of his ghosts today. Fitness wise he looked one of the best today. He was still driving forward right up until the final whistle. He will never run like mackie or swp but today he tracked back at every opportunity and again he was unlucky not to score. He deffo has that X-Factor.
I was good to see him re-find the confidence to take on and beat defenders. I was surprised to see him in the starting 11. He must have shown well in training. So has the ACoN enabled him to find some fitness and form? Maybe it will actually have done us a favour.
Adel was brilliant in periods, but there were periods when he disapeared-nevertheless MOM for me. Beautiful and exciting to watch-
