No doubt about it Graysons services will be wanted and I can't see him out of a job for too long, anyone care to have a bet where he might end up? I wouldn't be surprised to see him replace McCarthy at Wolves.

Will be interesting to see which Leeds players he makes a move for when he does find another club knowing what the wage structure and Bates stance on wages is first hand. We might have more problems ahead when he does find new employment.

He does deserve a decent Board to work with and some funds and he should be quite successful wherever he goes - I reckon he maybe out of the game for a bit to recoup after working closely with Papa S for 3 years.

You're right, it will be interesting.

Hopefully he'll come back for some of the donkeys he signed for us:laugh:

Kenny Jacketts days look numbered, the fans are calling for his head, he could be out of a job after West Ham thrash them today so SG may end up at the Den, whether he could do a job at a very small club like the Wallies remains to be seen.<whistle>

Decent shout Rod (and welcome to the Leeds board fella) <ok>.
Think Grayson will go for a steady Championship job next, like a Barnsley, or back at Blackpool, probably a northern club...

    Thanks ellandback.

Despite things not working out in the end for Grayson at Leeds, I still think he's a decent manager. Could deffo see him going to Blackburn due to his history with them, once they finally get rid of Kean.

Would the Venkys want Grayson though, or a big name? It seems they've stuck with Kean just to prove a point, but I don't think they'd be looking for an English manager at all, and certainly not one without a record of top flight management.

I agree with ristac; I see Grayson going to Wolves.

Spot on with Blackburn I reckon - the venkys will want a manager that won't make waves - i hope for s.g's sake he doesn't end up there - I'd like to see what he can do with with a supportive board...sod it, maybe Norwich when Paul lambert gets the call from Chelsea at the end of the season...;)

probs why he sold your midfield to us...

who do you want to replace him? Realistically...?

I love the idea of redfearn as i remember him as a barnsley boy - but no idea of he's up to the job...surely not o' Leary? That'd be mental. Actually mental. more mental than the Susan Boyle revealing a secret piers Morgan love child. Having said that, of anyone would have a point to prove...

Honestly gruffnuts i wouldn't mind O'Leary. I think there are certainly better names being thrown around but he isn't the worst (I know its controversial though)

Grayson will probably go to an ambitious club that is not sitting around waiting for the divined intervention to get them up like Bates dose. Bates wants a magician as a manager or rather needs one to get us out of league. He demands promotion but is not interested or willing to use money to get player with the quality needed to do the job. In his own word he has admitted that player is not a priority at this moment, he is more interested and are prioritizing building hotels etc. And the war chest he was bragging about is none existing. Or he has a completely different view of what a war chest should contain than what the fans have.
I wish Grayson all the luck and hope he will get a club that would appreciate his services and back him up<ok>

One thing's for certain: Grayson will get a hero's welcome whenever he comes back to Elland Road. :)
