Just been on that Bendtner may return fairly quickly but will don one of them masks..

Now with the way the team are playing...
    1. Would he even get a place.?
    2. Would you like to see MoN make this move permanent in the summer?

24-year-old Nicklas Bendtner has not turned on in the Premier League club Sunderland where he has rented out the season from Arsenal.

It recognizes the long striker, who otherwise is known for a very pronounced belief in own abilities, to Extra Bladet.

He has been criticized in the media, the fans and his coach, Martin O'Neill, to score a few goals, and Dane is because even happy to have scored three goals in 18 appearances for the north English Premier League club.

    Goals will come
    - if you look at the statistics, then it is clear that I would have scored more. But we are starting to win matches and that is important. Goals will come, says Nicklas Bendtner to Extra Bladet.

Wednesday evening he was sitting at home in Denmark and then his teammates outplay Norwich and win 3-0. Among other things, on a beautiful goal by attacks colleague Frazier Campbell, who also was listed for an assistant to Sessegnon.

    Still believe firmly
But rival the good games does not bother the Dane, who believe that there is still a permanent place for him in the attack when he is ready in two weeks after his facial injury.

    - I'm not afraid of losing my place. I'm glad that things are going well for my partners - especially Campbell, coming back after a half year injury break and scored two goals in two matches.

    - There will always be competition, but I feel I have shown that I deserve my place, says Bendtner to Extra Bladet

With Campbell hitting the ground running, it might just be the competition that Bendtner needs to get his act together in front of goal..

    1. I think he will find it hard to get back into the squad which is good for us it means who ever is keeping him out is playing well.
    2. if we could get him for less than 5m & on decent wages yes i would sign him

Bendtner is a good player, not as good as he thinks he is but still a good player. Unfortunately for us he just hasn't shown what he's capable of. At present he wouldn't get in the team but if O'Neill can get him to the level he is capable of then I'd definitely like us to sign him permanantly, for the right price of course

Sorry but what a tit!! Has he ever watched his performances back - Campbell last 2 games has held the ball up, got others involved, SCORED, put in 100% effort.

out of all of those I can honestly say Bendtner only covers one of them - Held the ball up!!

I like Bendy also. He needs to be careful though as I can see his career slipping down the pan. This season was to be a big one for him. Come here as the bigwig. The star player, outscore all our strikers put together and have clubs fighting to sign him come May. Not really going to plan. Needs a cracking Euro finals to get a move to a big club. I fear for him a little.

Honestly dont know if we should buy him, he is a it of a weird player, supposed to be a striker, but tends to drift out wide a hell of a lot.

    16 starts, 1 sub, 42 shots, 15 on target, 3 goals, 4 assists

so not horrendous stats, just wish the goals were in double figures.

I think he could be a good player and MON might be the one to get the best out of him, but would need to accept lower wages if he came to us.

My take is horses for courses, MON is sure to think in certain matches Bendtner will be more suited to play.
I was pleased we got him on loan, but have been disappointed in his commitment to the cause at times.
If anyone can put a rocket up his arrogant arse it is definitely MON.

The Jury is still out, i've not seen anything to suggest we should sign him permanently, but he has loads oftime to prove himself to MON, maybe Campbell has shown him the way?

If being a good footballer was all about 'taking one in the face' for your team, then my bank balance would have a few extra zero's on it.

I would sign him on a permanant deal, only if the price is right and the wages are reasonable. You have to think to yourselves is their many better strikers going around at the minute that we can sign? i mean if you take the january transfer window as an example we wanted kevin davies. Bentdner, Davies i know which one i prefer.
