swarbs.... there's always a game that comes about in a season that turns it decisively. for us in 2009 it was against middlesboro we lost 2-0 and after that we couldn't win it so ended up playing freely and hammering you 4-1. Citys season might just have turend agaisnt everton. wil lthey fold under the pressure? had mancii's admission made him look weak? utd could lose to cheslea or draw.. and if city win suddenly a loss a thome to lfc might create a big gap. conversely it might not.. all in all when it really gets down to 5 games to go thats when this really tells so this game is a bit too far from the season's end to be that big..... BUT you just don't want to admit that any match between our two clubs is bigger in the inds of BOTH sets of players and fans than a game v bolton... fair enough but i reockn privately you would agree. Baz... sorry but thats not the truth. the fact is i hear every bloody club saying the exact same... utd fans, cheslea fans, south v north... everyone goes on about this stuff. in case you didn't notice bruce got scaked, fat sam is i nthe championship and hughes has always done one ove ron utd when he could... fulahm and city days etc... The ONLY guy i think could be accused of being in utd's pocket is dave whelan due to his own comments but then his manager was always tight with rafa.... saying the whoel thing is a sham is not not reality.
Well can't wait till Sunday, Torres will rediscover his form and bang in a hat-trick. Will be watching it live on Super Sunday. Oh it's written in the stars, a million miles away, message to your main.
Funnily enough, his comment was a failure with grammar. Should have been: "Failure with the grammar, there. Epic fail!" Yes...the thread has descended to this level.
Nope, Liverpool through and through. A team with class and style, why would I want to support another?
if torres rediscovers his scoring form in that cheslea line up and bangs in a hat trick..... well i think baz will have to have £5 on it and win about 100k...
Hard to say that when your record signing and striker is Andy Carroll. But of course he's world class!!!!
Has the potential to be one of the great English centre forwards, right up there with the likes of Shearer.....
Are you saying that his ponytail isn't classic or stylish? That's madness! Anyway, regarding the game... This is another one I want United to win. Like when you played Arsenal, you can give us a hand by taking points off our nearest rivals. We're not going to catch you, so there's no point in hoping for you to drop points. I'm sure bazray would rather you finished 3rd and us 6th than 2nd and 4th.
Did you know in his first 118 games for Southampton, he (Shearer) scored 23 goals. Andy is the type of player that will peak at 28, unlike the forwards who rely on pace (owen) He will become more consistent and aggresive with age, we can see him improving week on week.
well.... lets face it... alan shearer went to southampton not his hometown club and utd wante dhim but blackburn got him for a big fee at the time... he went on to score loas and was bought by dalglish. andy carroll's not mirroed that bar goign for a big fee and being signed by dalglish. All he can do is continue to work hard and do his best. ........... thats as far as i'll go either way... but... you utd fans have berbatov that I've heard abuse of for years. While you laugh at carroll, you pour scorn on berbatov so i nthe end all you are doing is going on club lines to give our player stick = banter... not a probelm for me.
Shearer was not really prolific until 1993-1994 season, his second season at Blackburn, aged 23, scoring 31 goals in 40 games. Remember Crouch too, took ages to get of the mark, but once he did, he scored plenty. He (Carroll) offers us a different option, if we can't unpick the lock, we can just blow it off the hinges. Bellamy is the pacey option and Kuyt is effective also when on form. You need a big squad to win things these days, we are still building.
