To be fair Ens it is straw clutching of the highest order. If the manage to overcome Cardiff (not that easy)and get through the semis and final of this they will have a "double."
I think you will find that actually his argument is a load of bollox as he is unable to have a sensible conversation about the thread topic.
Post #237. Everything had stayed on the topic of the NextGen series but your post kicked off the Suarez issue again. So it was your post which derailed the thread actually.
Suarez' "excuse" was that he came from a society where racism was acceptable. That makes him a racist by definition, especially as he uses racist language. Far from being a false premise, it proves his argument and yours is self-defeating. However, as there is no way of knowing what he thinks that cannot be proven. In my experience though, if it looks like a dog has dogs as parents AND goes woof, there is a REAL strong possibility that it is, in fact, a dog.
An extremely silly argument which entirely overlooks the point that the FA did not brand him a racist. His excuse was not that racism is acceptable in his culture but that the language used is not considered racist at all. Again, you start from a false premise rendering the rest of your argument a nonsense. You really need to try a bit harder.
Funny how the report specifically said the FA didn't believe Suarez was a racist, and Evra also said in his statement that he didn't believe Suarez to be a racist. Admit it, you haven't read the report at all, have you?
In fairness if you weren't such a lazy **** and read the whole thread you'll find most of us "scouse scum" (a rather bigoted term for someone who seems to be portraying himself as a guardian of all things equal rights) have been very complimentary about the excellent youth team at Spurs and how impressively they've performed in this competition. It's not down to Liverpool (or Suarez) that Spurs have been booted out is it? No one was "larging it up" in particular and it's pretty obvious reading back that you're just a bit thick if that's the conclusion you jumped to
Players come and go,but supporters dont. http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/439869-police-arrest-spurs-fan-over-alleged-racist-sol-chants http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/13007983 Spurs supporters racist to the core.
Your mate didn't ask me what Evra or the FA thought. He asked me what I thought. That is what I think and yes I have read the report. Just because I draw different conclusion to you it doesn't mean it's wrong. Neither the FA nor Evra could call Suarez a racist because it would leave them open to counterclaim, there is no actual conclusive proof that he is. He is though isn't he? Go on admit it. You'll feel better.
....and they were punished for it. No Tshirts. No Harry saying "he's not racist you are all against us." Taken to court and punished. That is how proper clubs deal with racism.
The 'fans' in question are racists. So all the BS about the spiv and t-shirts is hot air. The fact remains that Spurs fans are renowned as racists.
