Kieron Dyer has apparently gone back to his former club Ipswich on a one-month loan deal. Feel sorry for the lad. Was such a promising player but has had a injury-riddled career. Although I don't really see the point in a loan move for just one month.
I always thought he could have been so much better if he got his head out of the high life and looked after himself.
If it weren't for injuries, ability-wise I think the England question would have been, "which two start in the middle between Gerrard, Lampard and Dyer?" On form he was terrifying and if he'd stayed fit (and maybe had a slightly better attitude) I can fully imagine him in a Man Utd shirt.
Why do I fear Ranger will follow Dyers path? Someone was saying Newcastle sign crocked players the other day? Ipswich now have Dyer and Bullard!
On his day he was a devastating player but injuries have pretty much put an end to a career that never really got going.
Remember Man United being linked to a 20million bid every other week. Sadly injury after injury. Probably the quickest player we've had in years.
I loved him, then hated him, then had far more respect for him after he played and scored the day Sir Bobby died, cried in his post-match interview and apologised for the ****e he put Bobby through....Fair play!
Hang on Jesus, he said he thought "Bobby Robson would live to 120 years", to me I thought it showed his ignorance.
This. He had pace, stamina, a good eye for a goal, fantastic agility and ability. Kieron Dyer at HIS best = Near World Class IMO. Could've been a Man United player in his peak. We really miss his pace right now in the middle of the park. Tiote = Top class player but not very fast.. Nolan = Oh dear.. Ameobi-esque pace at times!
He was brilliant when he wasn't injured, and has looked good when fit this season apparantly, is a shame.
