well how can you give it a "meh" if you've never been. Popular opinion says The Sun is the best Newspaper in Briatin, but I don't think so!

The centre back, Alan Bennett is any easy winner for worst since we've been out of the Premier League. We had him on loan from Reading in 2007/08 and he was shocking. A really poor player, looked very out of place in the team! He couldn't run, he couldn't pass, he couldn't tackle, he couldn't jump - he looked like an average pub player.

He now plays at Cheltenham Town having falied to make an impact at Brentford and Wycombe.

Pulis has done well from minor talent and connections...lucky boy to end up in Florida...actually a nice place with great beaches.

  7. I remember seeing N'Guessan play away at Charlton last season. People around me were commenting that he was not fit to wear the shirt. They weren't wrong - he was complete gash.

Anyone remember Jordan Robertson? Came on loan from Sheffield United I think. He scored a worldie on his debut, but did sod all else. He was a big lad, but couldn't win headers or hold the ball up. Disappeared when he crashed his car and killed a kid.

There are many contenders for this award so my shortlist would be
    Forecast
    Pulis
    Ryan Smith
    Romain Gasmi
    Lee Molenyeax
    Nicolas Bignall

Clearly if they haven't played a game for us then clearly the manager does not think they are good enough

They obviously miss Nigel's keen eye for a good striker.

In terms of failing to deliver on their potential, Tomas Peckhart.

Does anybody remember what richard chaplow was like during his loan here in 2006? I had no idea he had played for us way back then until pretty recently!

I do hope the Aaron Martin over Chris Baird statement is a joke.

I would rather have Martin than Baird.

I think Martin is OK now, and that he will become one of Southamptons greatest defenders ever with more experience. Obviously he shouldnt be first choice at the moment, but as cover for Jose and Jos he is definitely adequate. Baird was never that good at centre back.

Jason Euell was a frustrating player. I always expected great things from him and he never delivered. He's like the player you think will win a match for you but is always a let-down.

He had a terrible first touch aswell, the ball always seemed to bounce off his feet at awkward angles when he tried to control the ball.
