Joan Collins walked into a bar with a parrot on her finger. "Anyone who can guess the weight of this parrot can **** me" she says. A drunk turns round and says "3 ton". "Thats near enough" says Joan.
Lamberts odds have gone from 50/1 to 10/1 with sky bet after a lot of bets goin on lambert to be next Leeds boss
"Oddschecker Oddschecker Paul Lambert rumoured to be in the frame for the #LUFC job - cut from 66 to 16/1 today to be next #EPL boss to leave bit.ly/sXqj2g 1 hour ago"
"We can confirm at this stage that no approaches have been made, either directly or indirectly, to potential candidates, either in work or currently looking for employment, although we have been offered the services of many who are currently in work."
Sorry guys, I'm not very good at betting and odds etc. Am I right in saying if you put £1 on Paul Lambert to join Leeds at 8/1, you'll win £0 and lose £1?
Yep, you're exactly right. I have no idea where this came from but it'll be funny while it lasts, especially since you created this thread first!
Haha it's been a running joke on BBC606 and now on NOT606, Paul Lambert gets linked to every managerial vacancy in the country and we usually try to make a thread as soon as a job comes up (to beat the media to it!). We usually get a decent bit of good-natured-banter!
To be fair, it's always going to be the case the bigger clubs get linked with his name when he's done so well.
The other night jordan rhodes betting was suspended on joining norwich on deadline day on sky bet... Say no more I would like to see Karl robinson take the reigns, he has the potential to be a top manager and would be a good choice!
I have a suspicion that Lambert will be heading towards Manchester if he continues as he has with Norwich. The red nose one will retire sooner than later and with Moyes now beginning to lose his appeal, I reckon Lambert will be viewed as a possible replacement. Sadly Leeds will not be one of the areas Lambert will come to manage.
