Nass I am sorry but for me he proved how good he can be at international level with a MOTM performance against Spain <ok> who by the way did everything they usually do to every other team so lets not have it was a friendly line as they kept the ball superbly but couldn't break us down mainly because of him.

Michah Richards is a fantastic player but you can't give a cry baby the captaincy. He needs to stop all of that first. Maybe for the next WC <rofl>

RV, one game doesn't mean that you have proved anything, otherwise I would be proclaiming Margot Did as a world class sprinter. He did play very well against Spain, but will he do that game after game in a Championship and lead from the front? I doubt it.

Nass so all of a sudden you need to prove you are world class in a "EUROPEAN tournament" yeah ok whatever the standard is nothing better than he faces in the Premiership bar Spain

Premiership is fast and furious, tournaments aren't. Vast difference, otherwise we wouldn't get shown up at almost every tournament!

Also reason why I would leave Terry at home (unless Rio is injured)

It is fast and furious, you do have solid teams who like to play football but its still by far the fastest top flight league in the world. Swansea are rapid going forward when they want to be, same as Norwich and Newcastle. Fulham and Everton both play direct football with pace and QPR, Blackburn and Wolves all play similar direct stuff.

Stoke are typical, solid but play rapid direct football.

Gamilati just looked a tad special there beat Pimpernel hard held by 4 + lengths - that is English 1000 guineas form if anyone thinks Wading has an EW chance

As someone was mentioning the National, the big day for antepost ideas has to be the 14th when the weights are allotted. Then we can try to draw a line of likely runners, and those likely to be ballotted out. Should be interesting.

Congrats Wooly, hope both are doing well.
You can now safely look forward to 20 years of sleep deprivation, financial ruin, hormonal wife and utter misery, enjoy - your Cheltenham days are done !

what is the point in that race at Meydan, 108 rated horse winning a listed race on the bridle near enough. Completely pointless and shows that they still have issues, all the money can't buy you the best races.

Nass it is a build up race to the big one on WC night I think. As for 108 she will be a hell of a lot better than that and she just beat Pimpernel 5 1/2 without coming off the bridle that is a serious performance considering Pimpernel kept improving last season and was only beaten 2 lengths by Wading who is a 10/1 shot for the 1000
