Fair play to Killa, Only player with the balls to stand up to Bates after he left, he didn't go around acting as a puppet more players should speak out against the poisoned chelsea twat! Hope Killa gets a good reception. http://www.bcfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10327~2598217,00.html
As you say, fair play to Killa. But he's saying it from the safe distance of another team's board. Pity he didn't say as much in public when he was with us. He wasn't good enough for us at the time or even with our new side. That said, we can give him the clap he deserves & hope that he doesn't come back to bite us by making the pass that wins the game for them. Morning by the way.
On field this season he has had mixed reviews. I don't think he is the right player for us but he does try when he plays. I was a little surprised that against Doncaster in our last home game he was one of our better players playing in a more advance midfield role yet in the next game the manager dropped him, changing the defence and midfield and we lost. Probably should have not changed a winning team? but guess we do not know what happens off field. Out of the two though I believe that Bobby Reid, given the chance would be a lot better and from teh games in the reserves I have managed to watch. he has a killer through ball on him and gets assists and goals even though my first impression of him was that he looked like a pacey winger but is a good passer in the middle. I think we need to start using more of our youth players as we have some talented players like Jamie Wilson, Joe Edwards, Marlon Jackson who will all leave if not given the chance. Which is why I have much respect for clubs like Palace who under their current manager who thrown his young players in at the deep end and they are playing well and saw that one of their youngsters is being linked with a £12m move to Liverpool and we got about £2m for Maynard.
Kilkenny was a just a whining aussie light weight. He was too inconsistent IMO while playing for the Whites.
Doesnt get stuck in enough for a centre mid and whinges at the refs all the time and cant head it, got a great footballing brain but his feet cant catch up with the brain
on his day for us hes like barca's xavi, is the maker of every attack, it tends to be when were being pushed back and hes still in our half he struggles to find the right ball, but when hes behind the front 3 he's deadly
Oh he's definitely a player who needs freedom to do well. But I'm not fond of players like him. Rather have Clayton who can create chances and get stuck in. But I don't think anyone will deny he kept our midfield ticking when he was here and Grayson certainly wanted to keep him, although Bates and Harvey didn't. Another sign of the chasm between manager and board which has riddled our club for too long. Respect to Killa for not being your usual jobsworth player who doesn't take a public interest in criticizing twats like Bates.
