History doesn't show that success comes in cycles of around 20 years. That's just typical Scouse clutching at straws - just cos you had only twenty years of success doesn't mean it applies to any other club. Name one club apart from Liverpool that has had a period of success 20 years long and then gone into decline. Vague, wishful predictions about Utd being in decline do not count.
