Well anyway, this has all backfired for Fergie. Liverpool are on a fine run of form, Carroll has found his feet, United have been put out of the cup, Suarez will come back fresh as a daisy and score the winning hat-trick at the toilet, effectively ending any hopes of United winning anything. He who laughs last laughs longest. When we win the race to 20 league titles, the King will be knighted and bacon face can go and mess around with his horses and drink scotch.

Newcastle are more likely to get 4th than utd.... utd to be second by a big way over spurs and maybe even overhaul city and take this title... even stevens now but the twists and truns are going to be flying in from now on.

this weekend ought to be interesting. Chelsea v utd... chelsea are awful and there for the taking, terry is running for the hills to avoid rio... city taken on fulham at home so they will be tested to break down another organised team like everton... will mancini prepare his team right this time? and liverpool have a chance to right a bad show v the spurs so by the end of the weekend the title race could look every different... again.... of course no matter who comes out on top this round someone will be crowing... but its only the table after 38 games that matters.
My advice to United fans, would be to savour these last moments of a succesful period. History shows success comes in cycles of around 20 years, United have had there moment in the sun. So record as many games as you can, and in those barren years at least you will have a few fond memories to look back on. Soon as we are back to full strengh next year and with a couple of signings we will win the league and will go to be the first to twenty. Mark my words.
Not that bothered to be honest - like I said before, so many people have refused to shake Terry's hand or called him a **** that he probably doesn't care what people think any more. I'd agree with that. I just remember some Liverpool fans (possibly bow4 and Redbrynner) saying they reckoned this squad & injury situation was so bad that to win the league with this one would be as big an achievement as winning all three with the class of 99. I do reckon if we can get at least 8 points from the next four games we'll have a great chance of winning the league - City have an easy run coming up but then a tough run to the end of the season, and if they don't have at least a four or five point lead over us after we've played Spurs we may well be able to reel them in. I would love it if Newcastle got 4th. In fact, if Newcastle get 4th I will do a Keegan esque "love it" rant and put it on Youtube for you all to enjoy
