BB - We know about Norway going cold turkey, but I have a real worry about the other two. I hope all is well for them both...

    Well I think I have a result. ;)

Lost telephone and internet for a month and thought I should get compensation. Waiting to see if they would do something off their own backs I held off until the end of January. 1st February arrives and there is the usual bill for the usual amount. <yikes>

Getting my French into gear I sent off a terse comment or two asking them to explain please! Within 24 hours I have had a response. No apology, but a credit for €75. Maybe I could make out a case for more, but it is too cold to get the brain cells working for a second time. <cool>

Evening all! Back from the school, looking at A levels for Miss Hornette, who isn't the little Miss Hornette. Very confuddling. She knows 3 that she would like to take, but needs to choose 5, and she's worries that the three she's choosing aren't that relevant to the degree she wants to do...oh dilemma dilemma dilemma!

Still, meanwhile, Little Miss Hornette's room is well underway, but 12 years and many sackloads of crap are being gone through as we speak! lol

I hope that I am wrong, but Pompey look as if the Grim Reaper has them in his sights. When HMRC applied for a winding up order the bank accounts were frozen. Normal procedure, but you have to apply to a court to have them unfrozen and so far they have not managed it. This puts their game on Saturday in doubt as services such as police have to be paid for. The club have not paid any of the players and staff and it may well be that there is no money in the account anyway. For the life of me, unless there is someone prepared to buy the club, I cannot see how they will get out of it this time.

Crikey H, that sounds like a busy day!!

My day started ok, but then went downhill when i got stuck behind a tractor doing 15miles an hour which then put me 20mins behind schedule getting to uni, so i was 10mins late arriving. But then i had an interesting lecture with one of my favourite lecturers. I then got 300 words done on my dissertation. Then i met Kiri's mum to collect the photo's from our time in York which i am using for her pressie. Now just to wrap it.

Morning all - freeeeeezzzing up here last night, currently -9C, but strangely no frost to be seen.

Just been reading the EPL squad lists - QPR's includes both HH & TS:( I presume that means that the TS rumours are just rumours and are now unlikely?

On the bright side, I can't see AW's name on the Villa list :)

Morning all, looks lovely outside but at -11C I am not rushing to get out there. I assume that our undersoil heating still works and we do have the covers as well I think.

Coffee then a few inside jobs before going out to dinner. ;)

Morning from a very frozen bandit country - it was -6.5C when I went to Tesco at 07.30 and still down at -2C. Game should be OK tomorrow as my spy told me they were putting on the under-soil heating yesterday.

I think a couple of Poached Eggs om Wholemeal toast will be called for to break my fast (sorry, reading too much of The Game of Thrones)....!!
