Manchester United have reduced Liverpool's ticket allocation for our visit there on the day that Luis Suarez is expected to face a torrent of hate. http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereve...1000-for-premier-league-clash-at-old-trafford Liverpool City Council have recently implemeted a reduced allocation for United supporters for games at Anfield due them persistantly standing throughout games and blocking gangways and therefore breaking local safety by-laws. United have reduced our allocation in what their own local press describe as a "tit-for-tat" move that sees us lose 1000 tickets out of spite.
When Suarez is booed I hope United are condemned for anti-Hispanic sentiment and a racist environment. Perhaps the PFA will have something to say about it. Exactly, once Suarez scores a hat-trick their fans will hit the exits.
Suarez couldn't give too ****s about boos. If anything they'll just spur him on. Can't wait for him to rip their average defence apart.
This was recently in The Guardian - "Twelve Premier League clubs refused to give United their full allocation last season and the champions are concerned it is becoming a trend that is costing innocent supporters the chance to follow the club while also putting the team at a disadvantage." So can we presume that utd will reduce the allocation for the other 11 clubs? Spite or what!
don't care. the less ther eis the less chance some fool does something stupid cos the manc police and stewards will wnat to make arrests here badly. i think if we di nothing and they do the booing and racist dancing about etc i honestly think there wil lbe a MAJORITY that will say suarez deserved it. So in the end move on, take the abuse and look forward to the final no utd fan will get this year either get uptight and harp on about double standards or move on. the fa nor press nor any other clubs gives an F... i think short of someone coming o nthe pithc utd will come out of this weekend smelling of roses and the press ahcks will do their elvel best to paint us as villians.
Even if something as drastic as that (or worse) did happen the media would still say it is suarez' fault for starting the trouble in the first place.
More double standards from Manchester. After the condemnation of Suarez ratboy now puts the England national team before justice for Anton Ferdinand. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12016/7474394/Neville-Wait-to-judge-Terry
No matter what the Utd crowd do or say the press will interpret it as them making a "brave and vocal stand against racism" and showing their support for poor downtrodden Patrice Evra. As mito says all we can do is take it. They'll get bored after a while once it stops shifting rags and look for something else to feign righteous outrage over.
I agree with you both saint, but im just being an antagonist and fisherman of mancs. But so far no bites.
Quiet on here tonight. I'd do the tumbleweed thingy but whenever I do insert image they all turn out too small- and I'm too idle to try and work out what I'm doing wrong.
I think it's the time of the season where banter gets a bit more serious, the mancs are probably more interested in their own problems at the moment.
Yeah, very quiet. As for images. Copy, click URL on the image inserter but remove the tick from the box first. I hope that makes sense because i've had a few tonight.
Tried it- went to a link of Martin Skrtel I'd tried to upload few weeks ago and it worked- in the preview pane I got a huge sweaty Skrtel staring straight at me. I'll never get to sleep now.
I've walked away myself, I used to enjoy winding them up in the early hours but there's too much going on at the moment. I'll stick to this place seeing as we seem to have a few late birds.
I'm glad Manchester United Football Club have made this move. The sooner away fans are eradicated from football, the better. They create tension and ruin the family atmosphere which the game should be embracing. Unsegregated seating is the way forwards. Just my thoughts.
