Maybe it's only done in Welshland? When a party is ahead in the opinion polls they always say it shows public opinion is on their side. They aways have done

I'll probably leave about 12-55 to go to the gameI may be in there too coincidentally, but I'll probably leave at about 12:30 to go to the game...

I'll leave the pub at 12-50 thenYou do know that I have predicted 1 goal every minute, don't you? You will want to be on time![]()

Where did i mention in the run up to an election ? I was talking about opinion polls in generalNot int he run up to a election they dont.
What about the MaypollThere is but one infallible poll and it's name is Graham!

Polls are meant to be an indication of how voting would go if the election was held at that point. But as we know on the day of a vote most people opt for "what they know" and put in a safe vote.
At some point though the survey/poll has to count for something, it has to have some meaning otherwise why do we bother with them ? Companies use them during feasibility studies, some use them to measure customer satisfaction. You can only go by the information you are given.
The people and companies who conduct polls though, generally would use more accurate measures than the AST.
Polls can always be slanted though.
I could do a poll on here asking 10 Wenger fans 'whether wenger should go now' and the results would be different than if I asked 10 anti-wenger fans the same question.
It's also very much in the way the question is asked:
Q. If Arsene was not to win anything for the next 10 years and the club not making Europe in that time should he go now?
Q. Should Arsene go now, even though we will be challenging (and possibly winning) the league and europe for the next 10 years?
oh, let it go. We are about to start discussing Morris dancing![]()

I want them to take note that as bad as our form is, it's no worse than all the rest of the big clubs around us before mouthing off about sacking anybody. Villas-Boas and Dalgish should be gone too on that basis.I dont think people are complaining because of any comparison to Chelsea's record.
Just our own
2 wins 8. 8 points from 24. That is awful form and warrants criticism.
What would you like people to say?

AVB and Dalglish really I do not see as my concern.
It ain't that you don't care. You just you obviously don't have an opinion on the matter. Because it hasn't crossed your mind. There's a reason it hasn't crossed your mind that those two should be out of their jobs. Because nobody's saying it about those two, despite their records being equally poor.Jayramfootball said:Many dont care about Villas Boas or Dalglish or Chelseas/Liverpool in general. Its hard to get worked up and angry about something you could give two hoots for.
... it doesn't make any logical sense. Chelsea for one were doing much better with the same squad before Villas-Boas took over.Arsenal4life said:AVB and Kenny are both new to their jobs. Its not their fault largely that the squads they have sucked.
