If that's how you all see it, then I MUST be a WUM. <doh>

What's wrong with a sportsman-like fair-assessment of the reality of what I see? It may sound harsh but it's all for the good as long as we can fix some of the mistakes and weaknesses.

I do worry about the mental state of some of our supporters?? We just drew at Aston Villa in the Premier League, this time 2 years ago we lost 1-0 at Peterborough (with the likes of Priskin and Simpson up front) and were staring at League 1? What will it take to make you happy Yappy?

Last night we had 3 players making their debut and had to play Rob Hulse up front. Taiwo wasn't great and all of Villa's best moments came down their right, however, it was his first game and he's not exactly been playing much this season. He's an excellent signing, along with the others that have come in this past month (except Macheda which wasn't one of Sparky's).

I agree, we were lucky not to have conceded a penalty but I think we were due a bit of luck. Last night's was the same ref that sent Barton off against Norwich, I would suggest he was making up for that but he gave us nothing either, I just think he's crap like the rest of them.

We looked so much better organised than in previous weeks and if we'd managed to hold out until half-time, I'm confident we'd have got 3 points, however, 1 point at Villa is excellent for us right now.

Nothing at all. You just come across in most of your posts as a bit of a ****.

He was the same ref that sent Barton off against Norwich and gave us FA that game.

And what's so different to how you just slated me in this derogatory way? From where I'm sitting, you're the same? <doh>

Look WUM, I'll do you the courtesy of 1 reply direct! He has just landed in the country, he has barely if at all trained with his team mates, he is lacking any match practice and the PL is totally different to Italy. Yes I saw the match and yes there were errors but you'd have to be a total muppet to start talking about changing his natural position on the basis of one match as I've described! Maybe if Zamora doesn't score in his first game we could bung him in at centre back as he's quite tall, can head a ball but doesn't score enough!

The difference is that you offer nothing constructive to any of the debate on here. You say things that rile people unnecessarily and, as much as I'm sure you're a good bloke, your posts on here make you come across in a negative way. Saying that your posts make you come across as a bit of a **** is very different from saying 'you're a ****'.

It wasn't a practice match. It was a league match for valuable points. We got lucky and came away with a point, but if we hadn't, I am sure opinion would even be more negative as would mine. And what I ought to say is that, then, MH made a serious mistake in playing him, if we go by everything you just said. Why not put Hill in there instead, who's been there all season?

You really ought to stop calling people WUM, it does you no justice. Makes you worthless and classless.
Comparing what Zamora does to Taiwo is completely different. And if you can't see that, then, well, that about says it all, doesn't it?

Once again, I beg to differ on the constructive criticism bit, I could simply copy and paste what you just wrote here and say that your opinion is nothing. But I won't. You're only getting yourself riled up because you let yourself. Why not just study what others have to say and think it through before you react so quickly.

I love QPR as much anybody, but I refuse to be brought down to the level of a silly, immature, childish hooligan. I'm far too old for that and I would prefer to watch every game with balance.

Glad you can recognise sarcasm when you see it, and you have certainly mastered the art of putting your views in such a way as to illicit a response.
If you have the expertise to judge a footballer on one appearance in the circumstances other posters have spelled out, good on you. I prefer to trust professionals, so will be withholding judgement on all of our new players for a bit yet.
    Enjoy your day.

A question to the mods.......How in God's name is Yappy a Senior Member already? After less than 300 posts and on level 2? What is the criteria please?

It's not at the mod's discretion, Col. I'll find out and Brix or I will post it.

There are times Yappy makes good points - there are times when he's controversial and can irritate. Marmite anyone?

Is it to do with responses to his posts and number of posts to his threads? Just a thought but we're probably raising his profile. Personally I will be ignoring from now on, he's a WUM, just more subtle than your average one and will be enjoying the attention!

If it helps, I just trashed Chelsea whenever he posted. Eventually he put me on ignore.
