Just watched the BBC highlights of the game. Watch from 1:47 to 1:50.

A: Does anybody else see what I'm talking about.
B: What do you think was said?

Dale Stephens vs JJ or Haynes saying something to the goalkeeper?

JJ was probably telling him it wasnt as good a goal as his free kicks.....<party>

Yes, must admit, i did wonder what he was doing - a bit childish methinks.

Cracking goal, but not quite in the 'best goal seen at the Valley' comment as someone else said. Could quite easily have gone into row z ! However, he did thread it thru quite a lot of players, right into the corner.

I think the goal actually took a big deflection if I'm honest.

If memory serves me right Killer got goal of the season for that goal which I think was in 1976.

I can't forget Bartletts Volley or a header by Steve Downham which was started off as a shot.

Don't forget that our head groundsman ran the length of the pitch to lay on That goal for Killer.

Yeah, Shaun Bartlett v Leicester (i think) - best one way from home has to be either Scotty Parker v Leeds or Claus v Arsenal at Highbury.

Best for me was Paul Mortimore at carrow road when he seemed to dribble around half the norwich team to score

Yep, just watched the replay and it obviously got a deflect off the guy diving in at edge of box - thats why, even though he was close to it, the keeper didnt dive

Another lucky goal ! - long may they last ! maybe we're just making up for last few years?

and Harry Warman T <ok>, with some of the long range goals you have to remember that the ball is a lot lot lighter these days.

This miserable git stood on the barrier in front of me with several members of his family who all looked exactly the same, for at least five years, AllHell - he was never, ever happy.

Finally someone gave him a right earful (actually several people) and I never saw him again.

Another great moaner was a bloke we nicknamed "Torrey Canyon" because of the oil slick he had holding his hair down - every time something happened he didn't like, he'd turn round and stride up the terrace to the next barrier, muttering and head-shaking. Don't think he enjoyed himself much either.

In the film 'Notes on a Scandal', Judi Dench says "My father was a Charlton Athletic supporter. I believe it gave him very little pleasure." Always makes me think of these two.
