It's the fact some of you are so confident after half a season that you're suddenly the bigger club in London and that you think you could actually win the league. You've NEVER been in a title run in, not one of your players with the exception of Gallas so how do you know your players won't **** themselves from next week?

What's going to be funnier is that in the long term all this season is doing is building the spuds expectations.
When they struggle next year to maintain their level when Adebayor leaves, they have Europe to contend with, when Chelsea/Arsenal/Liverpool all can't possibly be as bad as this year and Harry is in Jail (or the England job) it'll be even better to watch thier descend than normal. I suspect our boards wont be so packed with maris pipers then.

Everton finished above Liverpool in 2005. City may finish above United this year. I somehow doubt they would be going on in the same manner. But then again, there is a lot less class in your average spudling. One season in the C.L and a possible 3rd place and they think they're the P.L answer to the globetrotters.
