Who let this **** back in? That's it, where is syd or jip jap or whoever runs the banning show. Time for some Justice!!! please log in to view this image Anyway, he looks the real deal, problem with the vid is that much much better defends will simply take away his right and push him onto his left, show him in the way and into the supporting defender. See how he deals with that.
Miles better close control than Lennon/Walcott,also better end product, crosser, reader of the game and passer
can't be better than lennon, Spurs players are godly........................................................................ only kidding bruv I hope he makes it, would add a lot of missing pace to our side and an outlet to break from the back with pace.
Its obviously just my opinion, but if history is any predictor of future behaviour, we won't see Raheem in the first team matchday squad for some time... Kenny was never too keen to allow youth to have its head. The only under 20 he played when he was last in charge was Stan (he was 19 at the time), and he'd been at the club for two years before he got his chance. Towards the end, Kenny was buying 'experienced' players (31 year old David Speedie, for example). As soon as Souey got his feet under the table, he gave youth a chance (Fowler[18], Redknapp[18], McManaman[19], Jones[19] for example...). If Kenny can't allow himself to trust (or gamble) on youth, we're in for a bit of a rocky ride with these youngsters, IMO...
Spearing, Kelly, Shelvey have all figured quite a bit this season. Flanagan & Robinson have also had a crack. Give it time lads, Kenny knows what he's doing.
Youth should be brought in slowly in dribs and drabs...Jay Spearing has been brought in over about four years and is now a key member of the squad. As is Kelly. I would expect Strling to get his first taste of first team action this year. But even if he has a massive impact, i dont expect him to start the next game, (unless injuries dictate that way.) Kenny will have been watching last night, and as a Lover of Liverpool he will have enjoyed his performance just as miuch if not more than we did.......
I think that Kenny is aware of the press digging dirt on Sterling as soon as he makes an impact and didn't he get two lasses pregnant recently? I wouldn't be suprised if Kenny is holding him back to protect him from this.
Until there is something a wee bit more official than Caughtoffside regurgitating Twitter rumours, I don't think I'd even bother calling it gossip... FFS - Caughtoffside and Twitter!?!?
Thing is, I've never felt that Pacheco or Nemeth got any chances. That must really kill your work ethic, being the best in reserves by a mile and yet Voronin gets the nod ahead of you. I don't blame the lad at all for not stepping up, even if he had, under Rafa he wouldn't be on the bench let alone getting an appearance. I'm still hoping he comes back and gets a proper chance, not just 10 minutes in a cup tie. The same with Sterling. He's fantastic and I just hope we don't miss the boat this time. We have been much too cautious with our youth, would it have hurt to play Coady, Morgan or Sterling vs. Oldham or Exeter?
