Now over the year Sessegnon has been with us he has played in a few positions. We all thought that behind the striker was his best position, and may still be..

    HOWEVER

can we class him as a striker now? he has scored 6 league goals this season, and seems to pop up in the right positions, like last night.

    no, not a striker.

but one hell of a player who sits right behind a striker.

He effectively does play right behind the striker now, in a CF position.

What's great is that he is scoring now and since MON came in he's been even better!

Just found a partner on his wavelength.

Both skilful, pacy and goalscorers. Unsure if he could be classed as a striker lets just leave him with a free role.

I think in the "Olden days" he'd have been called a "second striker" (SS on Footy Manager)

He scores, runs, terrifies defences, has fantastically quick feet and makes goals - for me he is one of the most complete and accomplished players we've had at the SoL in my lifetime

We need to bump his wages up to keep him - also, I think Gyan is coming back that's why he didn't buy a striker. Wow sessy is some footballer... We are soooooooooooo lucky to have him and one thing Bruce could do was find a player.......

I dont think he is a midfielder or a striker.
He is that rare player that plays between the lines and causes things to happen, an Arsenal/Barcelona type player (and before i get slated im not saying he is good enough for Barca just an example of the type of role) who can rotate round and drift into good positions.
In the words of my dad, 'A real propa footy playa'.

Why is he not good enough for Barcelona. Since MON came in has there been a better player in the prem?
