[ Oooooooh, targets on which to vent your bear spleen? My guess is that it will be one of the following: A Timmy at HMRC A Timmy at Lloyds A Timmy at FARE or Phil Mac Giolla Bhain He might, of course, implicate Murray or Johnson or one of those but that really wouldn't fit in with Leggo's "dark and sinister anti-Rangers" rhetoric.
I've fixed it - I couldn't see the quote icon and coloured it grey instead. I read Mac Gilly Gooly's blog this morning on the train and I burst out laughing when I read it - I hadn't thought of the whole situation like this before. Basically, he's blaming Rangers fans for the mess - hounding out Lloyds with banners and threats to close accounts until they were desperate to get the poison chalice off their hands and sold up to a shyster - Lloyds threatened to withdraw financial assistance if Murray didn't sell to Whyte in the end. I have to admit, it ticks certain boxes with me, does that theory
Cheers mate. Gee, I wonder who? It wouldn't be a Leggo blog without the customary reference to the dark forces that are out to get the Rangers
phil is extending himself too far again. I read that last night, speeling mistakes anaw (i am not sure i would get any credit for the joke spelling there, so i am going to acknowledge it). Phil is a grand man for getting a story. A grand man for getting information. He should never offer his opinion.
please log in to view this image I dunno - deep down I really hope that pages of bile directed at Lloyds on FF and RM along with this ***** banner were the catalyst for selling up to Whyte. Remember all the digging they did online about whit school certain Lloyds employees went to? Honestly, I really, really hope that this ****ing stupid attitude contributed to their eventual decade in the football wilderness <crossesfingers>
I do remember. I thought it was hilarious. I hope it is true as well. What i really mean is that when Phil deals in fact, it is good. His unverifiable opinion discredits all the good stuff he has done (and there is plenty of it, despite what i say about him).
This stuff just makes my day. The fact that this moron was a journalist ("dark and sinister forces" Dan Effing Brown or what?) shines a light on the standard of football journalism in Scotland. "You're just a poor mans Odious Creep!!!"
Spot on. Dark and sinister forces = either a candle-eater or only gives me a fifth gill in a hauf. I'm looking forward to his list of "targets" tomorrow (Trish Godman?)
"If Whyte did that then he would be revealing his hand. And, as I have said before, Whyte is a poker player from the top drawer". "To let the light shine on his plans would be to give the many dark and sinister forces which are anti Rangers and which have already worked and continue to, against the Ibrox club, a chance to block his scheme".
"If they want someone on whom to vent their spleen, I will provide them with targets aplenty." Will he provide home addresses so that the bullets, IEDs etc can be sent directly?
I wonder if any currants actually read Leggos tripe and hear the "Dambusters" theme tune in their heads? I seriously considered not commenting on this thread so as not to perpetuate the Cult of Leggo but he should have as wide an exposure as possible I now think! it's his little teasers at the end that are priceless..."HERE!" "SOON!" "TOMORROW!" you tune into his ramblings the next day and it's petty squabbles with journalists that aren't fellow pish-heids!!!
"...There would be nothing in it for him if there was nothing in it for Rangers. Think about that..." I have Leggo, and it makes **** all sense. The guy's an asset stripper, there to bleed your **** stain of a club dry, before ******* off in to the night, as quickly as he appeared with his "billions", leaving a destitute penniless trophyless McCoist wander around the trophy room looking at such fine wares as the diddy european cup and a ******* bike some French team gave them.
He's been almost guilty of that before, he was the cretin who continually spoke of Trish Godman wearing a Sellik tap at the Scottish Parliament,
That's the thing they don't seem to get: this bloke doesn't give a **** about Rangers. He claims to be a Rangers fan. He's probably never been to a game of football in his life. "Just refer to him as the billionaire" his PR people told the press. He doesn't give a ****e who gets screwed as long as it isn't him. He's got history for doing this sort of thing. It just staggers belief that so many bears still have faith in the bloke, albeit that faith is starting to get stretched even amongst the most ardent of hun loyalists.
