I wouldnt say Ben Arfa is unproven, kind of implies we dont know what we're getting. He is an established player, well capable of playing in the CL.

yes your right he is a proven quility player, got into a typing mode

We have not seen how he regulary fits into our team however. Also not seen him on a good stretch in the PL (no stretcher jokes please)

 

Also true, we need to see how he adapts to the pace and physicality of the league. Pace shouldnt be a problem, but thugs like de Jong will always target a flair player like him in games.
