Did we? I remember kicking off and complaining about O'Dea, Mikka, Forrsell and Keough before they had even kicked a ball, I was not impressed with what I had heard about Paynter either.

Even if we pay one month of Delphs wage at £20k a week that is only £80k we certainly NEVER spent anywhere near half a million on Smith and Delph and you're telling me if Grayson had those kind of funds available he would not have signed someone like Wes Morgan or St Ledger or Andrews

Afternoon all. Bit of a mixed night for many teams. Bet the Hammers, with all the money they've spent, didn't expect to get turned over so badly by Ipswich.

Will be interesting to see the starting line up for Brizzle on Saturday. AOB probably isn't fit enough to start or even go on the bench. So will Bruce start, given that Bromby is still recovering from some injury or other? Will Smith start at RB? If so, does Thompson have the capacity to play CB, or might SG push him into midfield instead.

Pity Becchio didn't score at the start of the game. Not sure it would have affected the end result, as it sounded as though we just couldn't cope with the beanpole.

On the positive side, at least we held onto Snoddy & our other core players.

Boggers, this might sound odd, but if we had got rid of Snodds, imagine the backlash... Selling one Superstar every 4/5 months gives just enough time the wounds to heal, and Bates just about gets away with it with little more then a wimper (it seems like). If things got ugly, he WOULD take notice, he'd have to....

would he though? Surely he will keep stripping us of our assets to balance out the loss of income through the turnstiles & tell us Morons its our fault for not backing the team!

Badge it's makes no difference IMO, Bates is the problem. Is Bates going to give the next fool who takes the job any money, I doubt it and since the transfer window has closed, we can't buy any decent players anyway.

Just hope the Grayson bashers get behind the next lad.

By the way Clivetime is having a massive PARTY and everyone is invited.

No expense has been spared in making this the most amazing PARTY of all time.

SG has been sacked and he is truly delighted and its the only possible way to celebrate
