Ah, but the siege mentality is all about really big things being against you. Refs, journos, the FA, anyone with a bit of power and respect in the game. City have neither of those, so they don't count.
Yes United haven't thrilled consistently these past 18 months but Liverpool haven't played any decisive League football for 21 years.
Arsenal would have been better off joining City and United in the Europa League because they aren't going to enjoy much more Champions League football.
I hope City win this weekend...because I also hope United beat Chelsea... Now excuse me while I spend the rest of the day shoving my fingers down my throat.
I think you're confusing consistent with decisive. We've played some pretty decisive League footie in the last 5 years. 1-4 at Old Trafford, 14 Mar 2009; 3-1 at Anfield, 6 Mar 2011; 5-0 at Anfield 23 Apr 2011; 2-5 at Craven Cottage, 9 May 2011; 4-1 at Anfield 31 March 2007 and I could go on and on... What we've not been is consistent...
Dont be so hard on yourselves... You have been consistently average.. and consistently not winning anything.. Though I fancy you to Win a cup this season...
Oh, very good, you two! Might even get a brace then, if we can overcome Mighty Cardiff... League Cup and Consistently Consistent Cup... Which Cups are you winning this season?
