Again...this is a strange post. Much better for us if WBA lose surely?

Feel a bit of justice done in the penalty that almost certainly should have been but was not awarded. Thank you Mr Swarbrick!!

Your being way too harsh on Mackie yes it was a bad miss but as did Bent a couple of times and he probably covered more ground than any other player on the field as was his job to be defensive.

we got hammered with a weakened team and got a point, I'm over the moon.

From Anon: "My reaction to the new BBC Sport layout has been a lot like my reaction to QPR's transfer signings. This morning I wasn't too sure about it, but now I see them in action I love them!"

Mackie didn't do anything defensive either. The midfield were non-existent.

Why? Theres only a point between them and if its a draw, only 2 points are awarded and both teams stay in the fight, if someone wins, they get 3 points and move right up the table.

Our No1 priority is to close the gap with WBA so that we don't get cut adrift!

Have to agree with Flyer on this one. We want as many in the bottom as possible.

yeh,Mackie covers more ground than anybody but doesnt actaully do anything with or without the ball...no way near good enough for prem and an average CC player at best. Is it just me or does it soetimes look like Barton is giving the ball away on purpose?. how many miss placed passes did he do?. Dont know how we got a point from that game and that was a clear cut pen that Villa should have had.

Thought Taiwo got better the longer it went, seemed to get more into the pace of it all as it went on. Some solid tackling, and one very hard shot that stung the keepers fingers. Onouha looked very good especially later on, and Anton picked up with him 2nd half. Cisse was brilliant first 20.

For those who's hoping we won't see much more of Mackie, think again! He's a Mark Hughes type of a player as you'll get. Big, strong, great workrate and stamina.

I'm not in the Mackie corner just to get that out of the way, painfull to watch at times. But i can't see him dropped anytime soon.
