    My bad. Mis-read Goldeneye's comment about Rusty finished at RB (not Wes). Clarifying Wes is not finished!!!! <doh>

    Looks like O'Neill is winning the side-line Manager battle... Still wouldn't swap tho!

    Was this the sentence that got many of you confused, I was referring to R. Martin, and quite clearly stated that on this display, he is finished if he continues in this vein

    midfield has been very poor today, tactics all wrong. Wes and the front two haven't been in the game. i thought we should have been pumping balls into the box for the front two but the two full backs can't get forward

    ONLY one game though lads, chin up!!!!!

    I give Sunderland credit for the first goal, but the others are due to abysmal defending

    Don't think the comments are any different from what your guys said in the fixture earlier this season about your own team.

    Still can't judge a player based on one display and nothing says he will continue to play badly.

    We were bossed in this game, it happens, luckily it doesn't happen very often.

    No complaints, the lads know what they need to do.

    Martin is certainly not "finished" as a right-back, but I really can't wait for Tierney to return so we can move Naughton back there

    Wow guys, 5th and 8th for our respective teams. What a season we're having... just imagine where you guys would be if the fat controller had been sacked when he should have (in august).

    A bad day at the office tonight, Budgies, it happens occasionally, just ask Wet Sham!! <laugh>

    Tactically undone tonight, Lambert will learn from this,

    Tell you what tho', Martin O Neil would have made a great manager for Norwi...

    Oh, hang on...

    <laugh>

    All the best, lads, you'll stay up!

    <ok>

    Ok my match ratings:

    Firstly, I'll just say we played Sunderland at a very, very bad time, because 'resurgent' doesn't begin to describe the form they're in. We were extremely poor today, and with Swansea away coming up, we really must get something out of our home game against Bolton. Sunderland were so much better than us; when we were in League One we played them in the cup and got thrashed - it was worse today. Sunderland were good, but what makes the defeat hard to take is how bad we were. 3 - 0 flattered us!

    Ruddy - 6.0 - Not at fault for any of those goals, kept the score as good as it was.
    R Martin - 2.5 - Abysmal today, and it really hurts to say it. Can't think of anything good to say.
    Ayala - 4.0 - Not really at fault for the OG but like the rest of the defence went away at times.
    Whitbred - 4.5 - All our defence was bad today, and Whitbred was no exception. Just not as bad as the rest.
    Naughton - 5.0 - See Whitbred.
    Johnson - 4.5 - Missed too many passes, didn't help out defence enough, made nothing going forwards.
    Crofts - 2.0 - See Johnson but even worse.
    Surman - 5.0 - Didn't do a lot wrong, but when he is one of the only guys not doing a lot wrong it is hard for him to shine.
    Hoolahan - 2.5 - anonymous.
    Morrison - 3.5 - Wasted the few attacks we did have. Toothless.
    Holt - 5.5 - See Surman.
