The fact that we are on TV yet again, and also that we have had 3 home games in a short time, looks like it being our lowest Premiership crowd for years, which could go in Norwich's favour...
We (SAFC) always play ****e on TV. I have got £20 on a Norwich win at 7/2. Safc win and I lose £20. Fair enough. Norwich win. Get £90 back. Fair enough. A win win situation. Unless it's a draw, then it's a win win lose situation. EVERYBODY back the draw. It's a certainty. (Unless some one wins)
i want norwich to win, its on sky, so i'll get to see them live, probably my favourite team in the PL this season, i've said before i think lambert should be a shoe in for the manager of the year, even if they finish 17th, but it looks like they will finish mid table, which is an achievement in itself, let alone after back to back promotions.. good luck canaries
Should be at least 35000. Bottom tier always fills. It's just up in the concourse it gets a bit lonely. Really looking forward to tonight. It's a nice sunny day here in costa del Hetton. 3 degrees, dry, clear blue sky (thats a lie) Great weather for a match. I've took the night of work to have a couple of shandies. Oh and Norwich should bring quite a few. I will guess 37.
Well I have to confess having the game on TV in front of a warm fire, or freeze my what its off at SoL, I am not decided that I am going yet.
Only one of our draft picks is available tonight, personally I hope our new leftside defensive lineman starts the match up. As our defensive linebackers will hope the soccer ball is stopped before it reaches the shooting area. Following Cattermole our middlemans unwanted vacation, I hope we can hold the middle real estate. If Sunderland handle the first period, spending more time your side of the division line without hiking the ball aimlessly, the impetous will be stronger with us second period. The offense are capable of making a series of plays to worry any defense. Set play outside lineman Larsson could convert if your defensive linemen take out Sess when on a speedplay! Not sure who our offensive linemen will be, but if Campbell is chosen by our coach he may be hard on your tight ends May not be the biggest match up in the soccersphere and definitely no stroll on the sidewalk for either franchise. I do think that your netbag will bulge more than ours with conversions, two zip to SAFC when the game clock runs down. Both franchises will still be in the British EPL on season wrap up. Good luck for the rest of your match ups.
We have a chance with Brown, Cattermole and Vaughan missing for Sunderland. Although I worry about Ses, Larsson and more recently McLean - especially if Martin starts at RB (Sorry Rusty - think RB is too much for you in the Prem ). However I hope Bridge starts for them...he is poor when fully fit so lacking match practise I'm hoping he will be proper garbage!! Here's to a good game. 2-1 Sunderland though I think, unfortunately.
Its bloody awful, isn't it?!?!? Why do they feel the need to change it when there was nothing wrong with the old one!
Teams for tonight Sunderland: Mignolet, Bardsley, Turner, O'Shea, Richardson, Larsson, Gardner, Colback, McClean, Sessegnon, Campbell. Subs: Westwood, Bridge, Wickham, Ji, Meyler, Elmohamady, Lynch. Norwich: Ruddy, Martin, Ayala, Whitbread, Naughton, Johnson, Crofts, Surman, Hoolahan, Holt, Morison. Subs: Steer, Jackson, Pilkington, Fox, Bennett, Wilbraham, Ward. Doesn't look good for Barnett. He's already got Ayala and Whitbread in front of him, Ward has jumped straight back in front of him as soon as he's fit enough and I'm assuming Bennett will end up in front of him as well. Add to that Russ Martin was getting picked ahead of him and his future doesn't look yellow and green
