    Saw an interesting article on newsnow compiling what the author thought was the best XI that could be made up from the 3 promoted sides this season.

    they had the following down:

    Matt Gilks (Goalkeeper)

    Danny Simpson (Right Back)

    Jonas Olsson (Centre Back)

    Alex Baptiste (Centre Back)

    José Enrique (Left Back)

    Joey Barton (Right Midfield)

    Charlie Adam (Centre Midfield)

    Kevin Nolan (Centre Midfield)

    Jerome Thomas (Left Midfield)

    DJ Campbell (Striker)

    Peter Odemwingie (Striker)

    I don't agree with all of it as i think that collocini deserves to be in there as does carroll since he's scored all his goals for newcastle and came up with us.

    bare in mind that cheick won't count as he wasn't in the championship last yr and i think those are the rules...

    Sorry, but if we aren't including Tiote etc we have to include players we were promoted with, and love him or hate him, Carroll would be the first name down.

    Olsson? Are you ****ting me? He's only playing for WBA now because of injuries, he was on the bench for ages.

    Best is in amazing form. 6 goals in 10 games, and he could have had alot more with a little bit of luck.
    Nolan obviously because of his 11 goals.

    Harper
    Simpson Colo Cathcart Enrique
    Barton Tiote Adam
    Ben Arfa Best Odemwingie

    Creativity and technique with Adam and Barton, defensive solidity with Tiote, Pace and trickery down both flanks with Odemwingie and Ben Arfa and a in-form Best.
