Good grief, Bates sanctions (if not encourages them) the release of players, the team as a consequence gets a string of bad results - and he sacks the manager?? <doh>

Sorry Leeds fans, really I am. Hope you can get rid asap <ok>

Hardly any great surprise. Grayson or Bates had to go this week and it was never going to be bates.
I just wonder what yes man Bates muppet will replace him

Now we know why we haven't signed anyone - so the board could pay Larry off.

The majority of the crowd were behind Larry, yes he made some dodgy tactical decisions sometimes (which manager doesn't) and signed some dross, but looks like he has finally had enough and told Bates to shove it.

Bates is the problem - like a cancer at our club we need to cut out before it destroys us.

Whoever replaces Grayson will face the same problem - no money for players, no backing by the board, and having to watch your best players being sold off one by one until Bates goes.

Thanks for your efforts Larry, let's not forget he dragged us up out of the depths of League 1 and led us through some great games (Man U!) and good times as well as bad.

Looking forward to reading Grayson's book. Surely he has enough material to write one. We'll then know about the true goings on at ER over the last couple of years.

I thought Grayson was a good manager considering what little support from his chairman he was given,,
but then the chairman holds all the cards,,,

Hope you get a good replacement,<ok>
    god knows you deserve it,,

As a leicester fan, should I gloat? No. I laughed when I saw last nights result - who wouldn't - but the way Leeds is being run by Mister Bates is a national disgrace. We all like Leeds in a 'we hate 'em' kind of way. We need LUFC in the Championship - at least while we are there - along with Saints (my 'home' club), Pompey bless 'em and Forest. Its what makes the Championship the best league in the world IMHO. Just hope you lot dont get Colin as you new manager, cos with an obnoxious team and obnoxious fans, he's the last guy you want in! Love ya really Leeds!!

i feel sorry for grayson. i feel he is a promising young manager, had very little transfer money to juggle and has been robbed of their best players (which i'm naturally pleased about!). surely it'll be warnock next...

What constitutes success and ultimate security? Leeds are what, 3 points off the play offs? New manager comes in and can't buy anyone. Logic says the players automatically will try harder because they want to impress the new man. Bates will say results bear out his judgement.
And he doesn't give a toss either!

Something is evidently not right at Leeds and its called Ken Bates, feel sorry for Grayson. Look at Howson Leeds through and through yet felt he had to leave to get into the Premier League. Sooner someone buys him out the better.

    Bates left it too late.

New manager COULD have interested new players to come in during transfer window. (given some cash of course)
Now we will get an unemployed manager (SACKED by some other team for failure)
The roundabout continues. Who would leave a present job (with assumed sucess) to come here and work with BATES?

It looks like a "name" will get the job with just one remit " Promotion this year or bye bye" written in the contract.

Can't see Warnock Kowtowing to Bates, but I guess he will be the favourite.
