Dan Walker at the BBC also implied that the deal was pretty much there, but didn't explicitly say he has signed.
Hmm...i guess we can assume it's a done deal, unless we hear differently... almost a good transfer window...but not quite!

Morning all - Freezing start to the day in Bandit country at -3C, but a bit milder in West West London. Great result last night and listening to the emotion in SD's voice on 3CR about how well the team, and especially AM coped with all the chaos of this ridiculous transfer system and then went onto put in a very strong performance. Some other thoughts on last night: - Great commentry on 3CR and Richard Wilson was a great pundit. I wonder if he goes to the same voice coach as SD? Or is it Senior Service and cheap Whiskey? - Overall not a bad piece of business for Marvin, obviously would have liked more, but we are where we are. If it's true about MM trying to put Bolton off and putting his own bid - what a slime bag! However, I'm not sure that a move to Bolton is a good move for him - they are very close to the relegation zone and are massively in debt. He is taking a big risk in taking a short term gain in terms of a huge salary increase. - I see Wichelow has gone out on loan to Wycombe. - Great move by Betty to bring in Clark Carlisle on loan, that could be the move that keeps The Cobblers up. I cannot wait for Saturday now...

Morning all from a bloody freezing part of eastern bandit country. Excellent result last night and sounded good listening to the commentary. So glad Mapps is still with us and we can have a settled back four for the rest of the season. Clean sheet last night and I hoping its the first of many more. Shame to lose Marvin but if I'm totally honest it might be the best thing for the team. Its going to force SD to pick a new front pairing and Deeney/Garner might just be the new Graham/Sordell partnership..........who knows. Anyway, glass half full today.

Morning All, Yesterdays snow is still hanging around and could be for some time with sub-zero temperatures forecast for the next week. The hot coffee is very welcome in this sort of weather, although you tend to drink more of them to keep warm, which in turn requires more trips to the bathroom. Anyone had a peep at the new look BBC Watford page. It appears to me to be more tabloid with it's use of colour and more tabloid in the actual news.

Computer is all better, I have my file back. The problem now is the file is new and empty and I need my IT person who might be in India to make a system restore for friday. There was four year information in this file. I did a backup before christmas of the important bits so I am quite safe, it is just the odd bits that I do not use often.
morning all (well, midday is still morning..ish!). Blinkin' cold out there, but feeling very positive about the goings on yesterday. I may be alone, but i think Marvin will not be a huge loss. I would have been gutted to lose Mariappa, but Marvin has become greedy, and sluggish, and he doesn't seem to have been 'on the ball' of late. He had good games, but he also had bad games, and i think we did a good bit of business there, despite always wanting more money, obviously. Now we can settle the team again and hopefully now that Garner is off the mark, and the new loanee seems fab, we'll be on the up..who knows where that might lead! Great win for us last night too. Doris will be gutted to have not scored the pen, but fancy Scott Loach saving it! Amazing . Hopefully that will give him more confidence, and it seems, despite the way it sounded, he wasn't at fault for the penalty either..double yay! I have now got a bunch of hebrew to learn in the next couple of weeks...why do they give it to me so late! So, free time is for study, ok?? Don't go tempting me with not606, i won't appreciate it..no really, i mean it .. Thanks for the caramel latte Ak, i needed that this morning. Roll on Saturday!
