I was frustrated last night but I think that just shows that we played really well and another night we would have won. The main thing was we didnt loose, we now have a really difficult match against birmingham but a point there and a win against burnley and we will be back on track.
Yes after 70 minutes, bet Leeds were relieved. Would still trust Jose to shackle him though even if he is fit!
Just done a bit of research and indeed Zigic went off on 67 minutes after his 4th goal, dosnt seem likely he would be subbed that early unless a precaution. Dosnt say about an injury and dont have the willpower to check birmingham player
Says on BBC site that Zigic was taken off injured...but to be honest after scoring 4 goals would Birmingham risk him with the game on Saturday. May be nothing. Just looked at top goal scorers in the Championship and we have 3 out of top 6 (Lambert, Guly, Sharp) with 36 goals between them. We can beat anyone on our day so although it might be nice if Zigic is out (because of his height alone) I'm still going for a Saints win.
Isn't it great to have Fonte back in the side. Watched the training video and how great is it to see the number of players returning back from injury. As Adkins said last night we have a healthy looking squad for the next part of the campaign. Competition for places. Great place to be in.
