After running my computer programe, wot analysez thousands of statistics, and compares the probability of a horses chances of winning a race. These are brickomputer's 3 top selections today 14-50 ALPHA ONE, 16-20 BARDELI, 19-50 BLUEBERRY FIZ. (please substitute the word thousands, for the word millions please.)
Morning, troops. Hope everyone well. Cor blimey though it’s cold. Can’t see much turf racing for the next few days as a result. ‘No bet’ for me today so the old regular readers can use the time to count their winnings from yesterday’s 13.4/1 double. Ho-ho-ho. Anyway some ‘agenda items’, if I may: (i) Montabzon, ‘the hope of the county’, will have his Cheltenham prep in the Exeter Listed novice hurdle that Spirit Son won last term. (ii) Mr Henderson’s Sistine did me a favour by winning yesterday. That one though has now been retired to the old breeding shed (Sistine that is not Mr Henderson). Given she has Camelot in her family she could me a very nice broodmare. (iii) The ‘Racing Post’ have today launched a campaign to protect racecards in the national print media. Is the editor one of my regular readers??? Didn’t I say the same last week??? Expect a critique on the ‘Queen and country’ brigade from them next week. (iv) Very, very interestingly that old rogue, Sir Mark Prescott, has got a horse entered in a NH race at the weekend. Can’t ever remember him doing such a thing. The unraced Dance To The Stars, what a lovely name for a filly by the way, is entered in bumpers at Sandown Park and Ffos Las. Well related she hails from the family of Millenary. What is the old boy up to me wonders?!?
Nass, not quite worked out what he’s up to but he’s up to something. Tomorrow’s meet at Towcester just been called off, people, and Wincanton look ‘bleak’ and are set to inspect at 1 pm this afternoon for their fixture tomorrow. An extra AW card to be added on Saturday I see because of the cold weather and the effect it is likely to have on the turf meetings.
Good morning gents on what is a very cold, crisp and clear day. But not good for the racing, or for the rest of the other meetings this week... I love this global warming... So attention turns to Newcastle or Kempton... hmmmm... Back in a bit with a few chilly picks from the dear north-east...
Down Royal is the way to go gents. Heavy track, a three mile chase. Heaven. Nine stone seven. Amber Knight. EW
Howdy folks-I cant access oddschecker at work so was wondering if someone would be so kind to check what HF/BB/Quevega & Sizing Europe pays out at-Can see them all winning and i'm sure the prices will shorten over the next couple of weeks-Was also thinking of adding ruby walshe to be top jockey but that could be risky as he may sustain an injury on the lead up to the festivel-I dont trust SCW on Long Run and Sprinter Sacre can certainly be beaten so i cant be adding them to the list!!
Not a great day for the racing but ive cobbled through the card at Newcastle and gone with... 1.20 - Mica Mika, 11/4 1.50 - Strathaird, 4/1 2.20 - Stormion, 7/1 2.50 - Alpha One, 2/1 3.20 - An Capall Mor, 4/1 3.50 - Definite Appeal, 5/1 4.20 - Ynfortheroad, 16/1 Wont be betting on all of em, but just fancy them to do well... Might take a look at the Kempton card now...
Hello lads. Bit of a nippy one. Nothing for me today. Was keen on Harpsy Cord in the 1.35 at DR earlier in the week.I expected the Mullins favourite to wait for Fairyhouse at the weekend and his declaration, along with multiple withdrawals,Fully Funded's in particular, has scuppered my plans. No e/w value at his current odds of 6/1. GL anyone having a go.
Good afternoon one and all, hope thee are well Not into this dire mid-week racing HOWEVER a few have caught the eye today, but to small stakes: 150 Newc - Strathaird must go well with the able 10lb claimer in the plate, fav is a maiden so may struggle. Transact for the RFC. 720 Kemp - What a tricky race but Legal Legacy is the one for me, has the beating of the favourite and ran very well LTO after a break. Finally the rogue that is Ferdy Murphy has 2 running in the 320 Newc! Brandon Thomas will get supported as they like this one a lot (backed EW at 16s) and have had a small investment on Rocking and Reeling who was absolutely beautifully behaved at the yard during the Open Day. Will obviously come on for the run but at 80s worth a go
Has anyone heard anything about Captain Conan's participation at the festival? Hendo has soo many options i am sure he will save some for Aintree and Punchestown!!
