If we win tomorrow we go 8th on goal difference. Then we play Stoke who will be 9th next week.

In my opinion this will define our season, if we can get into 8th and put a win between ourselves and whoever is 9th we can really start looking up rather than down. Its a big month for us February. Would be nice have a good run before the derby.

Agreed, especially after seeing an inspired Everton side today.

Think we may be fighting out a nice place in the final table with them. Hopefully right behind the top 6.

3 points tomorrow would do wonders.

Got a bloody good away record for a promoted team.

Difficult game tomorrow. Think it will be a nervy evening and we need a vast improvement on Sunday's performance. Still here's hoping MON has had a little chat about whats expected (100%) from them at EVERY game.

Well I've just finished a stint of four twelve hour nightshifts (it bloody knackered me out getting up for the Boro game after a couple of hours kip), so I will be having a few pre-match bevvies to lubricate my voice box for this game...
I'm expecting a tough game where hopefully we will win through..

My worry for tonights game is that our keepers, whoever is between the sticks, have a tendancy to flap like hell at corners and free kicks into the box.

It has been well documented that Norwich are way ahead of any other side for scoring headed goals. With the possibility that Brown could be missing we

could be in for an aerial bombardment. Lets hope that we can nullify their threat.

We'll need to be on our game to beat Norwich, if we play like we did against Boro we'll get beat but if we play as we know we can then we should get the points. My concern isn't the keepers, it's the hole left at the back due to Browns injury, plus Catts, plus Vaughan. We're a bit of a makeshift team at the minute but i'm sure MON will have them up for it.

Maybe the 2 new signings can make a difference?

It's going to be interesting for sure. As highlighted above we have 2 forwards that have lots of goals in them from crosses and if your defence and midfield do not stop these kind of chances then a goal or two could well be on the cards for Norwich but nothing will be taken for granted, I feel a draw will be a good result for us at the SOL. Anything beyond that will be a very useful bonus obviously but certainly not expected.

As you saw against the Mags when they had a makeshift defence, we exploited it to the full and done them 4-2 but of course that was at home, this game will be much harder.

Enjoy the game, but not too much lads <ok>

I think maybe we're beating up on ourselves a bit too hard for the 'Boro game. Sure, we didn't look good, but Cup games are often like that - witness Man. U's huffing and puffing to beat Chorley 1-0 last season. I won't be reading too much into last weekend. Still, Norwich are easy-meat for nobody this season, and this won't be a comfortable game for us.

Cuty, my point wasn't really the way we played but more importantly for me the fall out it caused us with injuries. OK, we signed two defenders yesterday, but are they match fit and ready to go? if not then what is the back four going to look like?

    Bardo..........O'Shea.........Turner..........Ricco?-Colback?-Bridge?

I still think that if we are anywhere near our game, we will be too much for Norwich.

Maybe the new Greek lad will start at the back, he is supposed to be a beast in the air and wins everything.

Mind you turner is good in the air too so we might be alright.

I would player Meyler tonight, tall tough good header of the ball, this game is perfect for him.

The Greek lad cant play tonight, they had to be registered with the FA by 12 noon yesterday, Bridge was, but he wasnt, so he wont even get on the Bench.

Good shout for Meyler but reckon he will choose Colback with Gardner. Take it no Cattermole? So what about Richardson? Is Wickham fit? ahhhhhhhhhhh too many questions..I reckon it will be
    Mingolet
    Bardsley O'Shea Turner Bridge
    Larsson Gardner Colback McLean
    Sess
    Wickham

Based on the players available it probably will be this, i hope Wickham performs though or it could be Campbell at half time.

Massive game and will be very tough. Lambert was a player under MON so will know his style very well, I think its going to be very close. They have not kept many clean sheets so if we can keep it tight at the back, try not to give a sloppy pass straight to their centre forward then we can get 3 points.

Disagree about ALL keepers - Personally I think Mignolet might cost us the game tonight if he starts - he can't deal with crosses - Westwood is great at crosses and commands his box much better but who knows what MON will do - personally I'd rather play Westwood but I'm not in charge

It would be Westwood for me too. Can't really understand why he's not back in.

Said similar elsewhere, if Ming starts he is going to have to play out of his skin and prove me wrong.
I too would have Westwood in in front of him.
