Leicester boss Nigel Pearson has made a new wide-man one of his top targets during this month's transfer window and he is hoping to land Marshall. Marshall is currently back at Stoke after a successful spell on loan at Sheffield Wednesday during the first half of the season. Wednesday were keen to make the move permanent, while a number of other League One and Championship clubs expressed an interest in his services. Marshall is out of contract at the end of the season and Stoke have decided to cash-in on him after failing to agree a new deal with the skilful attacker Stoke have now granted Marshall permission to hold talks about a possible move to the King Power Stadium and Pearson will be hoping to tie up a deal for the in-demand winger before Tuesday's deadline.
Could have been one for the future, or indeed the present, but looks like Stoke wouldn't be held to ransom.

Difficult to say as he's never been given a chance at first team level. I hear the same reports as you and he did recently play for the reserves against Walsall, scoring two and setting at least another two up for his team-mates, a great performance by all accounts. It's a shame he's gone...

I think he can pay either side mate, but he mostly played on the left at Wednesday. Should be a good signing for you if he's given a run of games.
I'm sure he's naturally a right winger as Waddo say's. IF he's played on the left for S Wed's he's even better than I thought he was and I know he's quick too. Not sure about mid field. Would well, I would play him out wide has good feet too! Sadly for me, he won't not get a chance to show our fans. What they missed out on.
