Kelvin Davis - 6, Superb save 1st half but perhaps could have done better for the goal
Frazer Richardson - 5, Wasn't that impressive. Both defending and attacking was poor.
Jose Fonte - 7, A Solid return to the side
Aaron Martin - 7, Kept Miller quiet and won everything in the air
Danny Fox - 6, Poor crossing today but otherwise a good display
Adam Lallana - 7, Looked sharp and had some nice touches but sometimes one touch too many
Jack Cork - 6, Was OK but needed to gain control a bit more
Morgan Schneiderlin - 6, Again needed to control the midfield better
Jason Pucnheon - 8 MOTM, Superb, never stopped trying and had some good moments
David Connolly - 5, Wasn't in the game today
Rickie Lambert - 7, A very good display by the striker

Tadanari Lee - 7, Looked bright when he came on
    Dean Hammond - 6, Didn't do alot

Post your ratings below - after the obligarotry slating of course!

Pretty well spot on IMO, not sure if Davis was fouled for their goal, but hey ho, two more pens and a just result would have been on the cards!

Terrible ratings (as usual) - I don't agree at all !!!!!!

Just joking ;) - I can't really comment because I was working but I saw a little bit of the match but not enough to give ratings.

Miller was a handful, won pretty much everything in the air against martin and a lot in the air against fonte. He does what Connolly doesn't and use his body when challenging the big men. We need a CB in the loan window, Martin again was dragged out of position a hell of a lot, but he is fairly naive and that's what Miller was trying to get him to do. The worst thing though about him today was his terrible decision making. Time after time he played ridiculous passes, more often than not in fact. Most of them to Fox who was instantaneously under pressure. Hooiveld will hopefully be fit to start Saturday.

First half, Passing from Cork and Morgan was slack. Morgan worked very well defensively, but picked a fairly stupid booking although i can see why he did it. Puncheon was easily our best player in the first half battled hard, found space and made things happen. Lallana was meh in the first half, one good cross but not a lot else. Lambert did his best, but had little support as midfield was too deep. Connolly was pretty atrocious.

Second half picked up a lot, the midfield all clicked which helped lambert, Connolly was still gash and should have come off 20 mins earlier. Richardson was the most disappointing player for me tonight though, not as many foraging runs.

I think we can forgive Frazer for a poor game, he has been largely brilliant this season. I dont't think Connolly will get much of a look in now we have Sharp and Tadanari. Unless Guly's injury is a bad one.

These weeknight kickoffs are doing my head in. I can't follow the games at all!

By all acounts a reasonable performance, I believe that we will still take top spot at the season's end, we scraped by getting to the transfer window with a squad that was low on depth and we've reinforced well. Our injury troubles should be all but over now so we can get this boat/bus on the water road.

Schneiderlin man of the match? He created absolutely nothing last night. Between him and Cork, there was a stupid amount of backwards and sideways

Hammond should have been brought on earlier, or started. Midfield looked weak last night.

Adkins said someone had a cold and a thigh strain. Who was that?

If it was Punch then that explains why he was taken off, if it was Connolly it makes it all the more confusing why he wasn't.
