It is going to be very hard for Bates not to sack Grayson now, I simply can't see the agony going on for much longer. The issue is who comes in, it would have to be a former Chelsea buddy as nobody would work under Bates. Zola anyone?
I'd compromise on a defensive coach that knows what he's doing, just to see us through to the end of the season.
