Rival fans were right Sir Alex is a sore loser who can never be gracious in defeat, just look at these outrageous comments regarding the defeat to Liverpool. http://www.caughtoffside.com/2011/03/10/sir-alex-ferguson-in-stunning-liverpool-admission/
Following the defeat to West Ham Sir Alex yet again blamed the officials and acted like an ungracious and sore loser just like our rivals tell us he always does:
The point is that idiot rival fans and sections of the media make out that Sir Alex is never gracious in defeat and always blames everyone else, which is a complete pile of bull ****.
Damn you Ferguson damn you! Take defeat like a man. Like that other bloke....you know......the tall one that smells like garlic.
Maybe someone should create a "United Myths" thread. That way, if the usual WUMs and ABUs want to spout their traditional fact-free drivel, they can put it all in one place. Then they can converse with other like-minded United-haters. And us sensible United fans can have a look every now and then and stir things up...
Barcelona 2-0 Utd Possession 51%-49% Chances 11-12 SAF: "We didn't play as well as we can but you have to give Barcelona credit," said the United manager....The better team won and there's nothing we can do about that now." Barcelona 3-1 Arsenal Possession: 67%-33% Chances: 19-0 Wenger: "But in the second half we felt there was more space, I knew that, like the first game, we could come back into the game and overall I'm convinced we would have won this game....We are frustrated with his [Busacca's] decision. It is very difficult to understand his attitude." QED
How can Arsenal fans still laugh at Man Utd for their performance against Barcelona after Tuesday night's embarrassment
From what I can remember too, United were accused of playing "anti-football" when we got a 0-0 at the Nou Camp in 2008- a "disgrace to English football" apparently. Particularly Arsenal fans if I remember correctly (Chelsea fans stopped after they parked the bus there the year after, and Liverpool fans didn't have a leg to stand on with Benitez at the helm). And now Arsenal have followed suit too! But unlike the Chavs and Gooners, at least we won the tie. And again, unlike Chelski and l'Arse, at least we've actually won the bloody thing!
