First goal is always crucial for us, but especially against Cardiff; they burned us repeatedly on the counter in the first match, and if we go down and are forced to press people forward, we're liable to be in trouble. Need to come out of the dressing room strong, and need to avoid the lapses in concentration that killed us the last time.

Going to say 2-2; a brace for Rickie, including one from a free kick (finally!), goals from Miller and Gunnarsson for Cardiff.

Id rather Lee play than Conolly. I know he hasnt had much time to integrate but this is a massive game

Very happy with the line up we'll have width and we have good options on the bench with Sharp to come on Saturday

    Need Guly!

    Gives 100% every game!

Puncheon? Surprised considering he was knackered against Millwall!

It's pretty close to the lineup that we used to great effect early in the year, though.

Wonder if Guly is injured...shocked to see him dropped entirely.

    Sibley's tweeted the lineup:

Davis. Richardson, Fonte(c), Martin, Fox. Puncheon, Cork, Schneiderlin, Lallana. Connolly, Lambert

Subs: Bialkowski, Harding, Hammond, Lee and Falque

No place for Chaplow or De Ridder!

Good to see Lallana in the side though, strongest team we've fielded for a while, hope we don't miss big Jos too much...

Edit: Oops, didn't see this had been posted above.

    Apparently, Chaplow's fit too.

    EDIT: Ah... somewhat superceded already.

Our squad is now looking seriously strong. Makes it very hard to tell whether guly, chaplow and de ridder aren't fit or there is simply no space for them in the side!

No Mark Hudson for Cardiff - good news for us, he's their skipper and best CB
