I dont remember anyone praising him. But the stories that were circulating, a few were saying it's understandable.

He certainly wasn't for me, always thought of him as a bit of a cock.
Ive always stuck by Taylor even when it looked likely he would leave <ok>

I hope Taylor does keep Carroll when we play Liverpool, but It wont bother Carroll who he plays against, he is a Liverpool player and is paid to score goals.

Wein maybe praise was the wrong word but a lot of fans supported Carroll when he broke Staylors Taylor jaw.

Carroll has gone from Hero to Zero.

agree with you in some parts. I was quite disgusted at some peoples opinions/takes on the CarrollTaylor incident.
However I believe that Carroll will be bothered when he plays against us
and will be dying inside when he gets chorus after chorus of boos.

After a few minutes maybe it will get to him but I think he will try and show Ashley what we are missing, fire power.

There were no charges by the police after the 'incident', no statement from the club, players or agents.

It's still an unfounded rumour from what I can see.

    Did Carroll break Taylors jaw?

That mackem journalist said he did but it seems this may be pure fantasy because no evidence has been brought forth that the incident happened as it is purported to have done.

    Any number of reasons really.

Bizarre shaving accident, sexual position gone wrong, shut hand in car door, slipped in the shower..

As I said previously the reporter who wrote the piece did so by speaking with Steve Wraith, the supposed best marra of Carroll with the whole "textgate" forced out drama.
Who's to say it wasn't all a big PR stunt? Since the whole event was organised by Steve, it would be very easy to get Andy to bid against someone (could even be one of Wraith's buddies) and then give them the t-shirt, just to create some positive press. It's the modern equivalent of baby kissing imo and I trust that long haired slimeball as much as I trust the current government.

(In case anyone is wondering, that is zilch!)

Has a full story from the ex-girlfriend not been printed yet?

Have there been no stories of escapades in Liverpool night spots?
