The two clubs have agreed a realistic fee, sadly Ipswich's offer of 2 pints of lager and a packet of crisps was turned down!! OK the last bit is made up but i bet he is not on his way to PR

All I know is the club are looking at various options- there is talk of parachute payments being advanced now etc. We look set to sell one of our youngsters today for 500k to Fulham, so that'll help a little bit but investment is still needed. Hopefully something will be sorted by the time our court hearing comes around. On the transfer front, Henderson has confirmed he's staying with Pompey & Pearce seems pretty keen to stay put as well, so thats a little glimmer of hope for us I guess!
