Lindegaard out of the game after leaving training on crutches therefore the mistake that is De Gea will have to play :( do we expect to be a further 3 points behind city by the end of the game ? I'd like to think we have enough going forward to beat stoke but if they play to their strengths i don't see how they can't beat us as he's bound to make at least 1 mistake. I'll hold my hands up if he proves me wrong and plays well but i can't see any other scenario then De Gea struggling tonight :(

Well De Gea played outstanding against Stoke earlier this season, despite being behind a patched up defence (again). So I vote we stop whining like Gooners and see how he does.

Well if we're scared of Stoke's long throw tactics at home then we really are ****ed.

May as well put the PL trophy in a nice box and take it over to wastelands first thing in the morning with that attitude.

Have faith mate, most people thought I was crazy when I said we would win the league over chelsea last year. Been supporting United for over 25 years now, and one thing that makes us stand out and so hated is that no matter how many times Fans, Jouno's write us off, we always prove the critics wrong.

If we can get Rio back fit for the run-in (big if) plus Ando and Cleverly back then we have a good chance of pushing city all the way, lets not forget city have never won the league before, reminds me of newcastle years back when they looked dead certs to win the league, even spanked us 5 at st james and we still won the league, and oncve again proved the critics and cynics wrong, leaving Kevin Keegan sourcing counselling for a breakdown to boot.
So have faith in the greatest football manager of all time, and our squad which even lacking a creative MF dynamo, unlike city we have players that would die for our badge - where as city have Nasri.

By staying United and having faith we have reached and surpassed Liverpools 18 titles (something I didnt think was possible playing footie in the school playground back in the 80s) , have faith and fergie will deliver.

FFS. If we cannot beat Stoke at home, then we are in a bigger s**t than I thought we were. If we have ANY aspiration to win that title, losing points to Stoke (with all due respect) is unthinkable.

De Gea may well make a couple of mistakes but I would expect us to score more to win.

I would love to think we cud pinch a point as i think at the mo man u aint flyin high ...
And with your key players missing it sort of shows that your squad is no where near the strength of Man Citys ... im tipping them to pip you guys to the title plus the run in of fixtures ........................No doubt we will see later s

Hey i completely agree that we should have enough to beat stoke especially at home which i did write in the post i've just completely lost faith in him at the moment i get scared everytime any team gets within about 40 yards of his goal because not only does he look nervous at crosses and set plays he never looks comfortable saving long shots

Apparently De Gea is ill so Amos could be in goal tonight.

Hey I meant no offence. I know Stoke are very resilient at home and could cause us difficulty with their style of play. But if a team like United however weakened cannot get a win at home yesterday then it would say a lot on how weak our side is and how that title chase would be difficult.
