It really is a statement of intent that we are going after these quality players to bolster our promotion bid this year. NC is providing the means for NA to achieve this. Exciting times for us - I still haven't calmed down after signing Billy yesterday.
I expect we will be looking to loan Barney out in the loan period. Connolly may yet get a game, but can't see Barney making the bench now.

Nicky Maynard is also known for his stinking attitude.. Ego's galore at Upton Park, so hopefully, like you say, it will disrupt the dressing room and piss their promotion charge up Want us and either Cardiff or Boro to go up automatically. It just reiterates the fact that Billy was the perfect signing for us as well; humble, committed, hard working, talented. Will fit in perfectly with the rest of the squad! Boy am I glad we didn't go for one of the Big I Am's.
